lucky u chicca! Here in Singapore, u have to pay for your own Rebif which will cost you S$2100 for 12 syringes... Very costly and way high for most of us here. Getting a subsidy for this also is like trying to squeeze water out of a rock... :(

They do have a program to help pay for Rebif and you can find out if you qualify by going to this site: http://www.mslifelines.com/rebif/insurance/access-made-simple.jsp Thanks Jack for the link but don't think I'm qualifed for this program cause I'm not a US resident....

The Blues strike again ....

The hospital has rejected my application for subsidy for my Rebif injections :( . From now on I have to pay the full US$ 1,705.41 every month in order for me to continue my treatment. That will leave me with just US$73 after deducting that amount frm my salary. :( MS really sucks the life out of you...

Thanks for the comment Jill, I'll will add these two to the supplements that I'm taking. I'm thinking of taking up the "Best Bet Diet" but it looks too tough for me to follow thru strictly. Maybe just restrict the consumption of some of the 'suspect" foods.

Grape-seed extract & CoQ10

I was reading this book of Nutritional Medicine and it mentioned that Grape-seed extract & CoQ10 are recommended for MS patients. Has anyone tried these before? Would really like to hear some views on this.

Hi Carolsue, Actually I am on Rebif since 25 Jun 2004 on the 44 mg dose. I have just called my doctor and voiced to him my concern again. He is now getting me to try the 22 mg dose for a month and then he said that he will switch back to the 44 if the hair loss subside... :cry: I'm feeling down wif ...
