Re: Len. If on beta interferon -atoned
I do. According to the 2009 LDN conference, beta interferon and LDN work in a similar way. I'm not a scientist, but I have been on both drug treatments both individually and together. If you want to try both together then it is quite safe to do so. My Bladder works properly when on LDN. Without, I s...

Re: Why should I take DMDs? Not being rhetorical (x-post MSW
The new drugs and beta interferons can work. There is no need to be snitty about them. I'd have to think long and hard about Tysabri, but that would depend on my state of MS. If aggressive, stronger drugs can really help. I have done very well on interferon beta 1a. 15 years with few relapses. You n...

Re: Blown off by doctors
If you have a clean MRI, then that's a good thing. Something to celebrate even. God,I'd love not to have those damn lesions. Your symptoms read like anxiety, largely. You should see an MS brain. Your doctors are NOT killing you. I live with malignant hypertension. It's already scarred my brain and a...

Re: Should i take Rebif?
My advice as an 'MS veteran' of 25 years is NO don't take any drug. None of them have been proven to have any effect in long term studies. I have never taken any disease modifying drugs and I am symptom free after being treated for CCSVI and cranio-dental & skeletal asymmetries. Physical proble...

Re: Should i take Rebif?
Rebif has worked well for me. I've been injecting it since 2000. My MS was galloping and I was having continuous relapses. Now I have an attack every 4 years. Success story. It is covered by the local health system, so I don't have to pay. I also take LDN which has had a magic effect on my bladder s...

Re: X-Post Has anyone done therapeutic riding?
I'm going to try it. I've always wanted to learn to ride. My core strength isn't very good. I know that riding will help. I just had my right knee replaced and my recovery has been brilliant. I have excellent physio(physical) therapy. I have loads more energy now that I'm not in continuous chronic p...

How to make LDN. Buy a packet of 50mg naltrexone and break or split into half (25mg). Dissolve 25 mg in 250ml water. Take a teaspoon (5ml), or less. You can get a prescription from the UK and buy LDN from Dickson the chemist in Glasgow. In pill or liquid form. Ask at the MS society in the UK. MSS.or...

Re: I think I have MS like crazy
Guillain barre disease is very similar. Hughes disease too. B12 deficiency shares many symptoms. You could have a somatic disorder. MS is not a disease that you want to even think about. Let the medics investigate and please try not to worry yourself ill.
