Re: Is Dr. Sclafani still around?

Hello

FYI there are interesting medical articles these days about Jugular Outflow Syndrome. Also Venous Eagles Syndrome. And FB groups.

Re: Herpesvirus HHV-6B strain linked to MS

The article says it is HHV-6A strain that is linked to MS. NOT HHV-6b. There is a Herpes 6 Foundation that can provide lots of info. As I understand it, most of us get HHV-6b as babies, called Roseola, a rash. And most of us get EBV, too. I had high HHV-6A titers when I had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome....

Do you mind saying who is doing your 8th venoplasty, and in the past?

Re: Antibiotic protocol very helpful for some people?

One should start this protocol with low doses of Alinia, even partial tablets at first. Then gradually increment.

Perhaps Alinia is similar to Metronizadole (Flagyl) Both are approved for treating giardia.

Antibiotic protocol very helpful for some people?

Perhaps the protocol that has put my "Lyme" into remission has also been getting rid of Cpn? It seems rather similar to the Wheldon protocol, but perhaps higher doses and daily. Alina (anti-parasite and anti-viral that breaks up biofilms), Doxycycline (to kill the pathogens outside, Azythr...

Re: Caution and Concerns - Minocycline and Antibiotics For MS

Just fyi

Doxycycline could be safer, avoiding this tendency of minocycline. In Lyme treatment, minocycline has recently been avoided in favor of doxycycline. Minocycline was observed to cause pseudotumor cerebri, which seems to be related to IIH.

I prefer doxy.

Re: Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency (CCSVI)-

Thank you so much for posting this video. I will discuss with my doctor about whether I should be taking B12. It's so cheap, it's worth trying regardless of blood testing results, it seems.

Are you able to get the B12 shots that you need?

Re: Epstein Bar Virus - A Review of the Epstein Barr Virus in Relationship to MS

Wow. Thanks. So I should take Acyclovir, too. The Acyclovir tablets I used to take were big. Doc said I could take the tiny Famvir pills instead. Which is better against EBV, Acyclovir or Valtrex? Maybe it’s HHV 6 that Famvir might have effect on. (ValCYTE was good at first for me, but then less so,...

Famcyclovir might help against the EBV and MS association. I take it.
