Re: Still undiagnosed after 2 years of symptoms.

Two years isn't so bad, I am on year 24 of whatever I have and it's been getting worse and worse and still no answers. At this rate I might get diagnosed on the autopsy table. Lots of studies about MS and vitamin D deficiency but you will be asked about that repeatedly on this forum. Does a deficien...

Re: Stop it with steel

Once again I write on the same theme. MS is stopped completely if you wear a layer of steel about the head at night. This can be as simple as steel wirewool under a baseball cap. It may sound crazy but it works. Try it! It has been used by the author with 33 years of MS for more than 2 years. Brain...

White spots?
What sort of white spots, as FLAIR shows up as white spots on MRIs and indicates lesions.

Re: Possible MS? 'lhermittes' + blind spots

But I must say, it gives me great relief to hear someone at least admit that my symptoms point in that direction - and that i'm not just totally hysterical. I have no doubt you are NOT hysterical. Not quite the symptoms someone would make up and certainly symptoms that can be caused by as lot of th...

The high ANA points towards stuff a rheumatologist should investigate. Now, let's say you do have MS I would think that the fibromyalgia would be a MISdiagnosis and MS would be the correct one. Yet, a high ANA points towards something other than MS or fibro, the optical neuritis points towards fibro...

Re: Possible MS? 'lhermittes' + blind spots

Ok, considering all the symptoms you have I doubt that you coincidentally have all these issues and that they are totally unrelated. Frankly most doctors will judge women as "hysterical" if they don't have a test verified by common tests. Don't give up. Brain and spine MRIs would be a grea...

Re: Almost two decades of symptoms. Exercise triggers.

Nothing to forgive, I know get that everyone with MS has different symptoms triggers. I was just really hoping to find someone who had found some kind of magical pill :-D or thingymajig to reduce/prevent flare-ups similar to mine. I feel like I'm a burden on the people in my life way to often. The ...

deficiency. Thanks for the info! My family are quite outdoorsy and so we spend a lot of time in the 'sunshine' (such as it is in Wales!). I don't think I am lacking, but i will try to find out if i am offered another blood test. Thanks! She tells everyone who posts on this forum to get a vitamin D ...

Re: Half of people with MS ‘accused of being drunk’

When I went to the ER with severe pain, spasms and lack of mobility, I was treated quite abusively. They said there was nothing wrong and that I was faking it. They screamed at me to get up and walk! I didn't have a diagnosis and was scared to death at what was happening to my body. They demoralize...

I don't need to read a link regarding MS and sleep apnea...I have both. MS diagnosed for 31 years and sleep apnea diagnosed and treated for 9 years. I was returning the favor. I've been sick for 23 years now and had a bout of cancer that cost me a lot after 5 years of misdiagnosis. The impression s...

Re: Read this before taking statins for MS

There is a huge on y'all missed with statins. There is a lot of DATA that strongly suggests it turns many people diabetic. I went on statins and went from per-diabetic to full blown diabetic. Total loss of blood sugar control. Read up on everything I could find and saw the info about statins and dia...

Apparently, he did not wanted to see me anymore so he found out a person, 45+ woman who studies medicine and she started saying stuff such as " I believe you, but your symptoms are not real, they are only in your mind", "they are plenty of people like you out there, who have these pr...

The impression section does not sound like the impression section of those with MS. nonspecific white matter changes that are likely due to vaculopathy/vaculitis or chronic white matter microvascular ischemic changes M...
