The state I live in (Maine) has approximately 2x the MS rate than the rest of the country. We tend to be old and we are far from the equator.

I have wondered about the tanning bed. I live in Maine, which apparently has twice the national rate of MS. I was thinking for winter use and get natural sun in the warmer months.

Numb feet. Lack of coordination in my legs from the lack of sensory input. They are still numb. But now I can take 2 stairs at a time down like I used to.

I am not sure if it is my MS, or my large intake of water. But I pee a lot. There have been some close calls. I now make sure I go before I drive any distance. I sweat a ton at work, so I need to be sure to hydrate.

I have not told my daughter. She is 6. She knows I have a back-infection. I have no idea where she got that from. But I have only had one attack 2 years ago. I am RRMS.

If vitamin D plays such a huge role in MS then higher latitudes in and if themselves have little to do with increased rates of MS.
