Re: MRI is clear but been having symptoms for months

Thanks, I will definitely ask for a copy of the report. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to speak with the doctor until my follow up appointment in a few months. The person I spoke to on the phone was a secretary which I wasn’t happy about, because I was hoping to speak with the neurologist directly. ...

Re: MRI is clear but been having symptoms for months

Who read your MRI, GP or MS Neuro? Have you read the radiologist's report? Was it with gadolinium contrast? Was it of just the brain or did it also include the cervical spine? Neurologist. I didn’t get to read anything, just got told on the phone it was normal and that was it. It was an mri of the ...

MRI is clear but been having symptoms for months

I wanted to know if it is possible to have a clear MRI and still have MS? Could it be something else? I’ve been dealing with symptoms on and off for the past 5 months. (I’ve also had 3 episodes of neurological “attacks” in the past... none of which lasted this long) Symptoms include: Dizziness(balan...

Re: Undiagnosed

Thanks jl! At first I noticed more symptoms seemed to be coming every month, and then I noticed they were coming within the week leading up to my period. The symptoms I got in August happened 3 days before my period, and the symptoms that came in September happened 5 days before my period. This mont...

Re: Undiagnosed

Hi jimmylegs, thanks it’s nice to hear from you as well. I’ve been taking 400mg of magnesium citrate daily, although sometimes I forget. I’ve also been taking epsom salt baths here and there. I added shellfish to my weekly diet and just recently started taking a zinc supplement ( 25mg a day) along w...

Re: Undiagnosed

Thanks for all the info! I have an appointment in a few weeks and I will be sure to bring these. I’ve been taking magnesium for the past couple of weeks and noticed an improvement with my twitching muscles. I still get them but less often. The tingling in my foot is gone. But I did get new symptoms ...

Re: Undiagnosed

Thanks sm for the advice. I usually drink 2-3 cups a day but lately have been only drinking one since I’ve been experiencing anxiety. I was told to take 2000 units of vitamin d3 and 300mg of ferrous fumarate daily. I also recently bought cod liver oil which has 1000iu of vitamin d. And I do want my ...

Re: Undiagnosed

Wow thanks for all the advice guys. And yes I would like that chowder recipe. ☝️ I was prescribed iron and vitamin d supplements. the dr mentioned nothing about magnesium but I will be sure to pick some up. Unfortunately they didn’t even test my zinc and magnesium levels. :( He also referred me to a...

Re: Undiagnosed

Thank you. I’ve been trying not to stress but it’s been so hard. It’s been so long since this last happened that I just kinda forgot about ms. I typed out some of my test results.. the ones I thought were important. I was shocked that my vitamin D was low because I thought I spent a lot of time in t...

Re: Undiagnosed

One more question, if this ms, is it possible that it could have been progressing the whole time even while I wasn’t experiencing any symptoms? I don’t really understand how it works. This has me worried. Yes. That's the nature behind the name Relapse Remitting MS. For example, I was symptom free f...

Undiagnosed

Hi I’m a 30y/o female. I’m undiagnosed but certain I’ve been living with ms for at least 10 years. I had my first attack before my 20th birthday. Numb patches all over body, couldn’t think clearly, had a hard time finding words, vertigo, slightly weakened bladder and bowel muscles. Doctors wouldn’t ...
