Re: A way to avoid Pesticides of any kind on Vegetables

Thanks for sharing this info re: the Aerogarden, it looks really interesting. I'm curious if you've had any fruit flies or other tiny flying insects invade the garden? That would be my only concern, as whenever I have houseplants they tend to attract tiny flying pests. I would love to try this, as I...

Free Women's XXL cooling vest, no longer fits

I have a black women's size XXL cooling vest I no longer fit. I lost a lot of weight, and you don't feel the cooling unless it is snug. I have the ice packs as well. Here is the product info from the company I purchased it through: https://www.polarproducts.com/polarshop/pc/Women-s-Fashion-Cooling-V...

Re: Best Bet Diet from movie Living Proof

I joined weight watchers exactly a year ago, and lost 50 pounds. This put me out of the obese range, and all of my bloodwork such as cholesterol & A1C is back within normal limits. I did this by eliminating a lot of processed foods, and eating more natural foods. I typically eat eggs, whole grai...

Best Bet Diet from movie Living Proof

I recently watched the movie Living Proof on Amazon Prime. It’s a documentary of a man who has slowed his disease progression through diet and exercise. It is very powerful, and I’m considering adopting his diet, in addition to already exercising six days a week. Has anyone seen the movie or tried t...

Re: Disability claims

Thanks Froggie & Hezelis, clearly I haven't been online in quite some time, as I just read your replies. I appreciate hearing about both of your experiences. With the support of my neuro I finally did apply, and qualified for Social Security benefits. Luckily after teaching for 14 years I had en...

Re: Side effects from Rituxan?

Thanks for the info Anonymoose, glad to hear it has been good for you. I will make sure to keep an eye on my iron levels. I guess if I lose some hair, it will always grow back in time. Jut trying to go into this with a positive mindset. Take care :)

Side effects from Rituxan?

I am switching from Tecfidera to Rituxan, due to several new brain & spinal cord lesions despite being on Tecfidera for 13 months. I am wondering about possible side effects. My neuro seems to think since it is such an infrequent, low dose I may not experience too many ill effects. Did anyone ha...

Re: JCV and BG-12

I agree, hats off to Ladymac. Great advice all around. It can be overwhelming if you live your whole life around MS related things, so deciding on the best meds for each person & doing the best you can is the only way to go. I am glad I pushed through a rough start with Tecfidera & am doing ...

Re: JCV and BG-12

Hi Ladymac, My neuro did a big panel of bloodwork before I started Tecfidra, and everything was in the "perfect" range. Because she is paranoid of PML, she has ordered a monthly standing order for bloodwork. She said she is mainly concerned because the clinical trials were only 2 years, an...

Re: JCV and BG-12

I was prescribed Tecfidera as soon as it was available, and have been on the full dose for about 3 weeks now. I have had no side effects at all, which is a new experience for me. I have tried Copaxone, Avonex 3x, Gilenya, and Extavia since being diagnosed in 2010. Due to different problems with each...

Disability claims

Hello all, I am a 38 year old special education teacher, and I was dianosed with MS over 3 years ago. I have been working through dizziness, pain, and incredible fatigue since then. My job is very physical, and stressful. I have fallen at work a few times since school began, and I am considering app...

Re: Aubagio

Hello all, I am also new to this forum & glad to have found it. My neurologist prescribed Aubagio a few weeks ago, but my pharmacy has not been able to get the meds from the pharmaceutical company. Has anyone else had this difficulty? I have been off of Avonex for a month, and I am worried about...
