Pain is my major issue. Its actually what led to my diagnosis. I have allodynia or other pain. This is a hypersensitive sensation. I feel it in my hands, feet, abdomen, and back. It feels as if someone took 60 grit sandpaper and sanded my skin off and that's on a good day. On a bad day, it feels lik...

Thanks!!! I am a member of the LDN Yahoo group. I'm aware of the LDN.org info page as well. I was looking for a document that would be suitable to present in court. I asked here as This Is MS because I find this site to be the most informative with valid/professional medical data posted often. And o...

Neuro Psych Eval

Has anyone here had a neuro psych evaluation? If so, can you please tell me how long the test took and who (what type of doctor) performed the test? The SS disability judge in my case sent me for a consultative neuro psych eval at my request. I went to the appointment. The doctor who performed the t...

LDN Info Help!!!!!!!!!!

I need help with LDN information for my SS Disability appeal. This is my second appeal before the Federal appeal's council. I was found to be disabled, but they did not include the previous four years, the actual date of onset, so I am appealing the denial of those past four years or the alleged ons...

Disability

I need some help with ss disability issues. I recently won a partially favorable decision, meaning I was awarded benefits, but none of the back pay because they changed my onset date to July 2008, rather than the actual date I became disabled June 2004. I have several questions: 1. Has anyone appeal...

Hi Bill,
I recently went through a period of intense pain shooting down my leg as well. The pain was very intense, making it difficult to sleep, and definitely relative to my position. In addition, I attributed the pain to MS.

Hi Dalhia, I was diagnosed in June 2004. I have never taken any of the CRABS, steroids etc. Initially I followed the Swank Diet, but now only follow the recommendations loosely. Currently I take 4.5mg of LDN along with many nutrional supplements. Since I began the LDN in December 2005, I have not ha...

Black & Decker Jar Opener

I purchased a Black & Decker jar opener last year. Anyone with hands affected by MS, arthritis or other conditions may find this kitchen tool quite useful. I no longer have to ask my husband or sons to open jars for me. When I purchased mine, they were still quite expensive; however, I recently ...

Also, a considerable amount of cookware is made from aluminum and I believe most baking powder also has aluminum in it.

Greetings Judie,

I think you will find a considerable amount of information regarding supplements under the topic "Natural Approach." Another great site to see what therapies and supplements patients are using is "Remedy Find."

Take Care!!!

Hi Patti, After reading your posts regarding your husband, I felt compelled to respond. My husband has a serious heart condition. He had a defibrillator implanted several years ago. Initially he was angry, bitter and often depressed. In addition, he was very scared. Later he confided that he couldn'...

Hi Monica, Well, that's open minded in my book! Any doctor willing to listen to his patients and work with them in the healing process qualifies as open minded. I wish you nothing but success with your future MRI - please keep us updated. I have not had an MRI since I started LDN more than a year ag...
