Re: Apology needed from Cheerleader and Cece

I apologize to Bromley (I hope you are doing well) for changing the topic of the conversation a little bit. I simply hope that if CCSVI is found not to be the solution that some expected, we will still continue to critically evaluate medical information and medical research going forward.

Re: Apology needed from Cheerleader and Cece

I have not posted or visited the website much since 2012 because I started to doubt my diagnosis. A long chain of events followed that made me lose trust in the Canadian medical system (the issues I have encountered are not specific to Canada). What I investigated was not CCSVI but a differential di...

Re: pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF)

Thanks L.C! There are some differences between neuro-muscular electrical stimulation and PEMFT. However, in her book, Terry Wahls briefly talks about it by saying “there are several case reports by Dr Sandyk of secondary progressive multiple sclerosis in which regression of disability is documented....

pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF)

I have not seen a lot of talk about PEMF. I am posting a few articles to see if it can spark a discussion or if people who have experience with this particular treatment can comment . Long-term effects of Bio-Electromagnetic-Energy Regulation therapy on fatigue in patients with multiple sclerosis. h...

Ottawa looking for public's feedback on RDSP (Canada)

Personally, I would love for the 10 year rule ( http://rdsp.com/2011/08/12/rdsp-1-barrier-the-10-year-rule/ ) to be modified. If I need to take out money (even if it is my money that was deposited in the RDSP over the minimum yearly contribution for grants and bonds) for a medical treatment or an em...

Thank you for the clarifications Cheerleader.. Deciding on being treated for CCSVI is not an easy decision because we don't have all the information concerning the risks and benefits of the procedure yet. While research will give us answers, many are not in a position to wait years for the informati...

For Torontonians

I posted my question on another thread but I will also ask here. I was wondering if someone could recommend a neurologist in Toronto who is good and also polite when it comes to CCSVI (I will be moving to Toronto in August) I would need an answer before Thursday at noon because I have an appointment...

Recommendations – MS specialist & family doc in Toronto

I will probably be moving to Toronto in the very near future and I need some recommendations for a good MS Specialist and a good family doctor (what I would like is a doctor who is intelligent and compassionate – that’s pretty much it) I have not been treated for CCSVI yet but I keep following what ...

I had forgotten about this post. I decided to go off Tysabri after seven months of treatment because I did not appear to benefit from a medication that carries some important risks. That was last summer. I have tried all the medications and I do not really appear to respond to anything. The only thi...

Cece,

I have been pretty quiet lately and I do not post much anymore but I had to log in to wish you the best of luck (but you probably don't need luck if you are being treated by Dr S, you are in very good hands)!
