Re: COULD YOU BE VIT B12 DEFICIENT?
As with every other occasion when you suffer from a chronic disease you the patient probably know more about your condition than the general practitioner, so I agree we have to advocate for ourselves if we can or get someone else to do it.

COULD YOU BE VIT B12 DEFICIENT?
As many as 20% of us could be vitamin b 12 deficient possibly as many as 40% of the over 50s, but the problem is how to find out and what to do about it. This video explains the problems very clearly, lists the large variety of symptom from alopecia, though anaemia, digestion and neurological to vi...

Re: A New Review About Diagnosing CCSVI
Thanks for posting this document Sharon. It poses more questions than it answers unfortunately for us.

Re: Tysabri: among them, 665 people have Death.
Marc, thank you for the note of caution about these figures, the ehealthme site does not quote it's sources and trying to follow links to other pages, leads nowhere. I am more enclined to feel confident about the figures available here: http://chefarztfrau.de/?page_id=716 . They are bad enough...

Re: CCSVI...I have it...but do I have MS??
hi Andrea and welcome. We Mostly are not doctors here so we can't really answer your question. Even doctors find it a tough one to answer. People without an ms diagnosis can have lesions and CCSVI. As someone said Multiple Sclrosis means many scars... just that it does not determine why you have the...

Re: Dr. Stys research
In short this means that CCSVI which may cause ischemia in the brain could lead to the death of tissues. He makes much to the auto-immune theory but we must remember that this was written in 2005, well before questions were being raised about the validity of the autoimmune theory. From the Peter K. ...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP
Of the many things that people have tried to make a difference to their health, chiropractie is one that make more sense to me than others. Many people I know who have MS have reported serious neck or head injury prior to their diagnosis. I know of course that most people will have bumped their head...

Re: am I SP"MS", or did CCSVI procedure work?
From Ella's experience (SPMS) it seems that it takes time for some of the improvements to show up. I include stability of the condition in the improvement category as she has not had stability of this kind since she was diagnosed. I think what Cece says is very valid, IVUS reveals many problems that...

Re: background report on CCSVI
I don't know if I want to spare the time to read this in full. I have come across a seriously wrong estimate of the number of MS patients in Scotland or even in the UK. In Scotland the numbers are likely to be three times what they quote. We have done a small amount of research in this area and from...

The situation in the UK
Here is what is going on in the UK at the moment. We have made a video commentary on a recently aired programme on the BBC. Steep learning curve in the technical skills area.

Prof Clive Beggs
Hi all, I don't get much time to come here and post these days but just thought I would put a note in about Prof Beggs who is going to do a presentation at the ISNVD meeting. He is a medical engineer and is working on a model that would enable researchers to 'see' what is happening in the brain with...

CCSVI: the Way Forward, Internation conference in Glasgow
Hi Gary,
Thanks for picking up and passing on the information about the conference... I hope that we will be able to meet a few people from your part of the world there. I know it is a long way to come but you never know.

outbox
From what I can make out, the outbox act like two boxes in your emails. I holds your messages while they are being sent, but it also has the same purpose as a draft box. It is worth checking from time to time that things have left it. It happens that messages delayed by the site being very busy are ...

6 month update
Thank you Erika for updating us at this time. I.m pleased that you are still noticing improvements after this time. This is very encouraging for the rest of us who have either had the procedure or our loved ones have. It's great to hear that people have immediate improvements, but it does not happen...
