Re: Recruitment starts on Multiple Sclerosis hookworm trial

I have had 3 doses because auto immune therapy's take a cautious approach of dosing at upto 35 organisms a time and putting at least 12 weeks or more between each dose. I'm glad you mentioned that because it helps to explain things. I'd read one of Jasper's comments earlier That quote was for seaso...

Re: Recruitment starts on Multiple Sclerosis hookworm trial

I don't recall looking at stem cell so far. In my mind it is tremendously expensive and risky. I am lightly affected by MS (live a largely normal life and have no disability) so am interested in cheap low tech solutions I can perpetuate if necessary at home. That's a little embarrassing, sorry! Wha...

2010 article on parasites and the immune systemt

Not a radical departure from any of the other articles but it's one I hadn't seen before. Evidently MSU supplied Joel Weinstock at the University of Iowa some of the T suis for his first study http://www.scientificamerican.com/artic ... rapy-mucus

Re: Recruitment starts on Multiple Sclerosis hookworm trial

Give me Hookworm over interferon any day. Hell yeah! I was just thinking that although the thought of swallowing parasites is kind of gross Trichuris trichiura doesn't migrate through tissue (no itching) and you don't have to go through the hacking/swallowing stage but the end result is pretty much...

Re: Recruitment starts on Multiple Sclerosis hookworm trial

I'm glad the Brits were interested in experimenting with the hookworms because that is all going into our knowledge base but you're right, not only hacking them up but having them migrate through our tissue just adds insult to the idea of harboring parasites!

Re: Multiple sclerosis: damaged myelin not the trigger?

Still can't believe they are using that poor MS mouse to try and find the answers to this disease!! Nothing concrete has come out of these mouse experiments for decades. The more things change, the more they remain the same! I've got to admit that I can't get my mind around what the researchers are...

Re: No active lesions! YEAH for parasites?!!!

Thanks Egggirl. I've lost track of the whole thing so I'm wondering if the people you're talked to sound pretty certain that there is going to be a "next" phase of the trial or how long it might take them to get it underway?

Not sure what you're getting at....if you start another treatment you have to drop out of the T suis study?

Re: No active lesions! YEAH for parasites?!!!

Thanks Egggirl, awesome to hear. I was going to mirror what barlow said but it sounds like you know what you're doing and.....although it's not exactly what you might want or is best for you, I think they actually do want to leave you off treatment for a while so that numbers go back up and will act...

Re: Matter of fact overview of ccsvi

So Bob, now that we have expressed our feelings over each others comments, I believe it's time to move on. And I would hope that in the future, if you want me to provide info on what I may say, please ask for it without adding the extra words that could be misinterpreted. See, I was right when I sa...

Re: repair of injured nerves

I'll tell you what, in some areas they are making improvements in leaps and bounds. What comes to mind is that football player a few years ago who took a bad hit and would have likely been paralyzed for life if the medics hadn't chilled his back and got him immediate treatment. I haven't heard latel...

I could care less about being right or wrong. I'm just sick of you bullying me and Harry and a host of others online. Bully you? Remember this is the general forum and that you recently made it clear that anyone with objective thoughts are more than welcome to stay away from the ccsvi forum. If peo...

Re: HiCy in Europe

I hope you didn't take what I said to mean that it's not available in Europe. I don't know one way or the other. I just meant that considering Campath might open some other options for you. You might already know but I noticed from another post that the Revimmune protocol has been renamed "Cyre...
