Re: Sacral nerve stimulation for OAB

I have now completed the Axonics sacral neuromodulation trial and am experiencing both bladder and bowel benefits. Right now the battery that provides the electrical stimulation to my sacral nerve is taped externally to my back side. I'm scheduled to have the battery surgically implanted next week. ...

Re: Mobility Scooter or Electric Wheelchair

I love my 4-wheel scooter BuzzAround Ex, extremely useful for walking the dog, and it's good on the street.

I tried using my electric wheelchair to walk the dog, but it isn't good on uneven pavement.

Re: Sacral nerve stimulation for OAB

I am scheduled tomorrow to start neural sacral modulation therapy with the Axonics device.

Has anyone else tried this?

Botox bladder injections are losing their usefulness. I now need them every 3 months or so.

Did Interstim work for you?

I have been getting bladder Botox injections every 4-6 months for the last 7 years. I understand Interstim can also help with bowel incontinence, also a problem for me.

I am looking for alternatives. I also take 50mg Myrbetriq twice a day.

Re: Has anyone here had BOTOX injections in the bladder ?

With time, I seem to be getting less of a benefit with botox injections for neurogenic bladder. When I first started 5 years ago, the benefit I experienced would last about 7 months before I needed another injection. Now, 5 years later, the benefit seems to last about 4-5 months, and I'm no longer a...

Peony Immune - Pain and Swelling of Psoriatic Arthritis

I have been taking 3 capsules of Peony Immune daily now for about a month. I take one capsule every 8 hours and it has helped significantly to reduce the pain and swelling in my fingers due to psoriatic arthritis. I still have some pain and swelling, but I think I can live with it. The standard medi...

I have no idea what your out-of-pocket cost is for Qizenday, but there are several high-dose biotin supplements available. You might save some money by switching to one of these.

Re: workout question

When this becomes a problem for me, I add calf-liver to my diet for a week or two. I tend to be border-line anemic, eating liver and onion for a period helps to clear this up. I also take b-vitamins daily, to help with this. I work out every other day and have for about 30 years. I am in my early 60...

MS Hug and Indicas

MS Hug related symptoms are the most unpleasant and truly frightening of any of the MS symptoms I have dealt with in my 30+ years of dealing with MS. Has anyone found indica cannabas (medical marijuana) to be of help in relieving this symptom? I have just filled a prescription for liboderm lidocaine...

Re: Success for MS Hug pain

HappyPoet, Thank you for posting this. I've asked my doctor to submit a prescription so I can have these on hand in case of another attack. Truly frightening. My pharmacy is awaiting approval from my medical insurance co. before they will fill it. I'm considering paying out-of-pocket if the delay co...
