I get a lot of muscle ache. My Neuro gave me alist to choose from to see which my insurance covered. THey coverd all of them. He then chose Avonex. I am really scared I might be injecting something that does nothing. I have heard so much about Copaxone and Tysabri.

I saw my Neuro yesterday and he tells me to go for the full shot whenever I felt comfortsble. I was thinking that it would be easier for me to gradually keep adding till I get to the full shot, what does everyone think?

My doctor saw me yesterday and his office has been certified as a center for this therapy. He offered this to me, but I am really afraid. I am also very new to all this, but Im open minded to hear everyones opinion.

I just spoke to someone from Avonex and they stated I must throw out the other half. Wow.. this is way expensive to do that. I asked about the needles and they told me, no, this must be done this way and my doctor a should have explained it to me. What does everyone think of this?

Been a DIabetic for 23 years, I believe I have a lot of practice and really didnt think anything of it, but I can feel for those who have not had to take a regular shot.
