@CorB, you can buy 600 mg capsules cheaply. Look on Amazon. I intend on taking two per day.

I ordered some and hopefully I will start it this weekend. The capsules I have ordered our 600 mg each. I will take two per day. I will Watch for the AAN piece this week.

Thanks David. I have used alpha lipoic acid in the past but only at standard doses of around 100mg. It sounds like 1200 mg was tolerated quite well.

In Australia The RDA for children is 200iu per day. A child's skin produces this much vitamin D in seven seconds!

Scott, I tried both of the links again and they work as advertised. A few years ago I did genetic testing and I was found to be homozygous for the VDR Taq mutation. Since then I found another person with MS who also has this mutation. I suspect that most if not all people with MS have this mutation...
