Dad23, welcome! Don't feel too intimidated by this whole thing. I look back now and remember feeling so unsure about it all. You WILL be able to live a normal life once you get into the routine. I have been on Rebif 44 for 4 years. I take 2 ibuprofen 1/2 hour before my shot which is at bedtime. Occa...

Robbie, this sucks...I'm so sorry for you.

Have you ever considered acupuncture? I've been doing it for about a month now and my constipation is gone! So far, I'm sold on it!

Speaking of cranberry juice, has anyone ever tried Mangosteen juice?

Robbie, good luck!

Can anyone let me know how you deal with MS related anxiety, whether from the illness or as an emotional reaction to its challenges? The person concerned is going to go to a first counselling session next week and hopefully be able to get more clarity about where this is coming from and how to cope...

Well, I've had about 5 treatments now and it seems to be helping with leg pain, fatigue, and stress. I'll post in another month to let you know if we are progressing. Thanks.

http://health.msn.com/health-topics/articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=100198254 Here we go again! See no. 8 listed in this article...Avonex, Betaseron and Rebif. What does this mean? I'm so upset right now

....and just need to vent to my friends on this website. I was just approached (or should I say confronted) at the grocery store by this woman who asked "are you REALLY handicapped?" (because I parked in the handicapped parking) My response was "well yes, I have multiple sclerosis...a...

Random Thought

I'm going to win the power ball lottery today and when there is a cure for MS, I'll fly us all to some place in paradise with tranquil, peaceful, beautiful beaches and we can forget we ever had to deal with this nasty disease and all this stress. Stay tuned my friends and cross your fingers!

AC, I was touched by your post. You are obviously a very caring and devoted wife and mother. I am also interested in your husband's vitamin protocol. One question, tho....with so many supplements, isn't it quite expensive?

Has anyone tried acupuncture? I have my first appt next week and I'm so excited. Hopefully it will help with my symptoms....if nothing else I've heard it helps with stress.

To all that have shared their similar experiences, I appreciate your candor! It is not easy to talk about. My problem is that I have either constipation or I have no control over my bowels and often have an accident. I have noticed that exercise does help and I'm eating yogurt everyday and drinking ...

What no one wants to talk about

....including me. I'm having issues with bowel incontinence. Pretty embarrasing as you can imagine. Has anyone else ever experienced this and found a way to control it? Do I need to go see a specialist? Thanks.

My neuro also said I should have no MS associated pain in my lower legs. I'm going to take this article that Lyon posted and maybe she'll prescribe massages!

Thanks Lyon!
