well imo, I pretty much have to say I agree with the "reason" behind flawed testing.

Have you considered having your daughter tested at IgeneX Labs? They tests for all the lyme bands,,,,
and keep in mind that lyme is a clinical diagnosis!

Lyme disease now is considered to be a pandemic.

Thanks for that Chris, I also saw those statistics about the increase in LD. What is upsetting is the CT Attorney General R. Blumenthal gave a press conference "scolding" the Public Health Department about how they continue to drop the ball on getting reporting of this disease from the lab...

Thanks for the post Finn. Brock, yeah, good thoughts you're having. IMO, until they can replace all the drugs etc used with the treatment of MS do you really think they are going to open that Proverbial Can of Worms? Shared Solutions would be ---For What? hmmm, hard to believe that the powers to be ...

Grumpster, Sarah I'm sure will help you get started. I can't agree more with Brock, What do you have to lose? Am I right to assume you are PPMS? and not too many "drugs" are effective? As for the interferon, my guess is that you can continue while in abx treatment. I know that all I've eve...

Brock,

I agree, self treating isn't the way to go...the folks on the cpn site are very helpful and knowledgeable and can point you to a doctor.

Chris, Good news hearing about your daughter. How long has she been symptom free? What was her course of recovery? I'm being treated for Lyme disease and all the co-infections that go along with it. Testing unfortunately isn't very good for things like Babesia, Bartonella, Mycoplasma, Erhlicia, Cpn,...

profit being a motivator when it comes to sick people? hmmm, anyway, you're connecting the dots-great! being you're own advocate is a sure fire way of taking control of your recovery. Here's a great link I have and still read: http://www.immed.org/ Lots to read and Prof Nicholson talks about Mycopla...

no problem! I can't tell you, I STILL (kindof) question my new path to recovery! How can I not? I'm convinced of this bacteria,,,,I have tests to prove it,,,,yet, where are all the neuros? The science is out there. It's not easy to be in a limited yet successful group. My doc does say that the psyco...

Hey Brock, I can understand where your head is,,,worrying if this could be the start of another relapse. Heck, I can't tell you how many times I went through that over the years. You promised me that you would remain calm-remember? and not jump to the conclusion of this being a relapse...(not easy t...

Brock, Symptoms will wax and wane,,,very normal! Being normal I always found helpful. I mentioned you sound a lot like me. I just had what seems to be pretty close to what you described about your right knee, a vibrating sensation in my left knee and tingly...different than other tingly sensations. ...

Hi all, I have been diagnosed with MS since 1990. I have been on Minocycline 100mgs twice daily along with "other" antibiotics since November 2006. I am scheduled for new MRI's in July, and will post under Regimen my results and my protocol. I'm very excited with how well I've been feeling...

yes, it is what we all want. We all want to get better. As for you remaining on Rebif, I know my doc doesn't have a problem with that... I intend to post my MRI results (in July). I will post my regimen, and the in roads I made since I began treatment with these simple antibiotics. For me, I held on...
