Mino seems to be a very helpful abx for me.. and I'm in treatment for a few years now. I do however take Vitamin C with Mino so not to get skin or teeth discoloration, and I do take Minocycline each day along with other meds for co-infections. I also pulse my meds, but I'm on them for periods of 3- ...

I too have been on antibiotics for 17 months, and seeing improvement like others have reported. I do however take a good probiotic, and never had any problems with candida. Like duncan, I see the future of MS patients using an antibiotic as a source of well being. More and more patients sitting in t...

my doctor used Doxy in the beginning...to see if I would react to an antibiotic therapy. His choice is Mino ( for me and what ailes me). It crosses the BBB. He then switches things up as treatment continues. I've been on Tetracycline, Roxy ( Love IT) etc. But Mino is a drug he used along with others.

I can't agree more with Sarah.. This study isn't a new revelation,,, Here's some reading explaining "why" bacteria isn't found very often in the spinal fluid. Dr Lida Matman talks about the pleomorphic phase of bacteria. take notice this is from 2005. http://www.personalconsult.com/article...

Brock, Your questions are exactly the reason finding a doctor who is educated in Cpn and all that goes with.it..would be your best bet. There's so much to this. You live in Missouri? if so, there's a very good doctor you could compare notes with. If you have ins you should be covered. Lyme doctor's ...

Brock, It sounds like your knee is a "herx"...or die-off! And this is exactly what you want. If I remember correctly you are under a doctors care who has only prescribed Minocycline? imo, Mino isn't enough to eradicate all that is going on.. Mino works extremely well,,,,but I believe we ne...

Hi to all, May I suggest you look into Tick-Borne Illnesses? Having high ANA's is rather common. Heck my 9 yr old niece had high ANA's...and if her family wasn't informed about this illness,,,I shudder what path she'd now be on. This disease "causes" joint pain,,, fatigue, numbness, visual...

This can be the hardest part of all of this...feeling lousy --then feeling better. I should revise my above post and say that night sweats could be from Babesia, Bartonella, etc...I mean't sweats, either day or night is usually a sign of one of these pathogens. They come and go, another usual sympto...

Night sweats is a sign of Babesia and Bartonella. Very common with lots of folks. Testing for these Tick-Borne Illnesses aren't very good; so staying on Cpn should kit their little pathogetic butts! btw, my doc says there is NO reason why a man should sweat... except having one of these pathog...
