Re: Very Successful Treatment with Rituxan

And sorry, I didnt identify my position. Have had 2 treatment of Rituxan and am a few months from my third. Have never been worse but was in a major and extended relapse when I started. Havent noticed a bit of relief. Rituxan, for most people has not had major side effects. It has been considered le...

Re: first infusion (RRMS)

Thirtyone,
Genentec will approve off label Rituxan free of charge if your insurance wont cover it but there is a ton of effort involved and you must qualify financially.

Re: first infusion (RRMS)

Hi all, So after a horrible experience with Tysabri, months of waiting for Rituxan approval, a terrible relapse, a course of Sulomedrol, I finally got my first infusion. All pretty much without issues but had a secondary relapse a few days later. Cant help but feel that there are way to many toxins ...

Tumefactive MS

Hi all,
Anyone have some common sense, layman terminology for Tumefactive MS. Keeps coming up in my radiology reports and its freaky as hell. My Neuro is kinda brushing it aside. Thoughts anyone?

Re: Endless illness

Hi Cheer! I wish it were the flu. It has been over 2 months now and started literally the second I walked out of the infusion center the first time. I have been tested forwards and backwards. We keep coming back to antibodies developed against Tysabri. As of now, liver panels seem fine. Just longing...

Endless illness

Just curious if anyone has gone through the things I have. Started Tysabri 2 months ago so, 2 infusions. I have not stopped vomiting and having diarreah since then. Terrible stomach pain and constant nausea. My Neuros seem a bit lost and only hear that I possibly developed an antibody to Tysabri. I ...

Re: BG 12

http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/aldrich/651419?lang=en&region=US This is an interesting site. They sell everything for research purposes. Not sure the average Joe could buy it. They list the chemical structure differently for Diamethyl, Monoethyl and Fumeric acid. More confused than ...

Re: BG 12

Cure,
I think it worked. Told my girlfriend you were a genius! Seriously, that is an interesting twist in this little mystery. I think I'm on my way to the store to try some! Probably should have posted this on the BG12 page. It's been a while. Forgot my manners.

Re: BG 12

NHE,
Wow, impressive! I guess my only question as a layman now is..........are they close enough for fumeric acid to be of benefit? I know this is a loaded question but what the hell.
Thanks,

BG 12

Hey Dig, long time. What is your latest take on BG12? Is this really fumeric acid? All my Neuros seem to think its the Holy Grail but if we can just do it ourselves why would anyone sign on for a high dollar Med? Rituxan coming up hard and fast!

Re: Copaxone or Rituxan

Same scenario for me. Copaxone for 3 years. Tons of bad MRI news and worsening symptoms. Put on Tysabri and after 2 infusions, I can not tolerate it. Rituxan is the new decision. I am sort of at the "whatever the hell" point in all of it. Hope it goes well for all of us.

Re: Opexa (OPXA) Surges on FDA Fast-Track Designation.

NHE, I have dropped out of the Opexa loop. In fact, I cant seem to figure out what they are doing. I havent seen any of the data from their trials. I does however seem that they are riding the slowest horse in the race. I know how informed you are so I hope that leads to the right decision. Be well ...
