Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

Dr. Sclafani,

I looked back in my old e-mails and I did give updates for the first year (2011-2012) but did not last year. Will do.

Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

Dr. Sclafani, It is three years this month since you treated my husband for CCSVI. Since his first attack was in 1975, you can imagine that much damage was done. However, he continues to maintain the benefits he received from the procedure and even though his walking didn't improve, it has not decli...

Re: Dr. Hubbard's update on the FDA

"Also, the number of people getting the procedure is dropping off." When I read this sentence I had to make this comment. I know many people who would like to have the procedure, but cannot because they can't afford it. Insurance covered it for my husband three years ago, but as you know ...

Re: List of Those Who Had/Scheduled to Have Procedure-Stanfo

I started this list over three years ago when the first patients were seen at Stanford. I thought about it the other day. Wondering how many (from this list) still read this forum and how they are doing today.

Re: Bladder improvement after CCSVI treatment ???

My husband had the CCSVI procedure with Dr. Sclafani in April 2011. He had started in January 2010 with major bladder problems and had botox shots in Feb 2010 and Jan 2011. Hasn't needed botox since. His urologist was expecting that my husband would need botox again this year, but to date he hasn't ...

Re: Neurological Res.-Oct. issue on vascular link of MS/CCSV

I think the 'general' neuro's, the ones we meet, are kept away from ccsvi by the higher neuro's in the monkey tree. My neuro also says that he doesn't hear from ccsvi anymore, huh From the comments our neuro has made to us about CCSVI, I couldn't agree more. Wish he would just read the research and...

Re: Neurological Res.-Oct. issue on vascular link of MS/CCSV

Even with all the research that continues to be published on CCSVI and MS, my husband's neuro said to him at his recent
appointment that the interest in CCSVI is fading away. My husband had the procedure with Dr. Sclafani in April 2011 and his neuro has never asked him anything about it.

it is difficult to present cases if there are none scheduled. Cases are not being scheduled??? It is odd. The perception of my availability,or my ability to treat remains confused. I can schedule but cannot manufacture patients. Dr. Scalfani, Could this be an issue of insurance coverage? Are patien...
