Re: Anyone else out there with similar experience with Tovax
Help! Anyone else out there with similar experience with Tovaxin? This is a long post but worth considering a new possibility on the road to full recovery... Hi there, Ziggy! I apologize for not catching your post earlier; it seems Opexa is soooooo slow about publishing progress reports--and we don...

Re: Tcelna Trial for SPMS
Maybe after this big conference call about second quarter, they'll give us some preliminary information. This is taking waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long! http://www.opexatherapeutics.com/investors-relations/press-releases/press-release-details/2014/Opexa-Therapeutics-Announces-News-Release-and-Conference-Ca...

Re: Tcelna Trial for SPMS
Well, xpsych, that's supposed to be what we're here for (if we don't get lazy and fall off the radar for MONTHS at a time). If they paid me in Baked Cheetos, I would have been broke AND starved by now, you see! :-) For what this is worth, I'm going to give you the run-down of how the Phase II Trials...

Re: Merck Serono Enter into Option and License for Tcelna
It might be peanuts BUT it shows one of the big pharma guys thinks there's promise somewhere along the line. NOW... what I want Warna of Opexa to do is sign in zombie blood that he'll let someone like me write up the report on this latest clinical trial (when the time comes) so ALL the good news fal...

Re: Tcelna Trial for SPMS
Hello all, I received my first Tcelna/placebo vaccination today. I don't know if I received the real thing or not, but I have few comments. Like some people who tried the Tovaxin/placebo trial commented , things didn't go smooth. It turns out that the Tcelna/placebo was not shipped on time but we f...

Re: Opexa, Inc Annual Shareholder Mtg
First time poster. I first became I Interested in Opexa because my wife has a mild form of MS. I was searching for a company that has treatments for MS. I have been invested in Opexa since Aug of 2009. It has taken for ever to get to phase iii. I firmly believe we are on the cusp of phase iii. Take...

Re: Opexa, Inc Annual Shareholder Mtg
I agree with your outlook but where did you come up with six months, just a guess? I'm figuring that January will kick off their new section with the 240 patients. And then it'll take from January until April before they make a statement about just how much they can and cannot do and how soon their...

Re: Opexa, Inc Annual Shareholder Mtg
I think we're going to be on a roller coaster for about the next six months. And if Opexa has to disband, THEN we'll probably see one of the Big Boys (Merck, Teva, Bayer, what have you) sashay in and pick up this stuff for pennies. At this point, though, I'm ready for it to happen. If anyone else ca...

Opexa, Inc Annual Shareholder Mtg
Copy of the report, p. 31 "We currently intend to use the proceeds from the Feb 2011 public offering for general corporate purposes...and to prepare for and proceed toward the initiation of a pivotal Phase III clinical study... although the(se) proceeds would not be adequate ($7.6 million) to p...

Flares
Yip, I was on the "real thing" for Phase II and got one dose in the extension part about 48 hours before the trial was discontinued. As for flares, the fatigue stayed about the same but last November, I had a flare in my left hand that I called the numb-thumb syndrome. The mad tingles even...

What I would like to do with the stocks...
.. is open 'em up and drop a few idiots inside for a nice 17th century New England dose of punishment. I could whip up some rotten tomatoes and eggs very quickly, I might add, and see how bad my aim is for zapping some smug mugs. I'm sick of a bunch of bean counters having such influence on MEDICINE...

Blood and stuff :-)
This reads to me that someone is expecting a LOT of activity. Phase III used to rope about 5000 for its part of the studies... this would confirm such a number, I think. We could ALL use some good news!

My reply ;-)
Note there's nothing in here about excluding former lab rats... overall, positive but definitely close to the chest. ;-) ---------------------------------- Jane, It is indeed encouraging to be making progress toward a clinical study. Opexa is anxious to be in clinical trials again. We are working ha...

You could be absolutely right about this, without a doubt. But if we, the lab rats, weren't going to qualify for Phase III, you would think there would have been clear communication on that point with one of us during these last years and e-mails. Or even official notices coming in snail mail. It wo...
