B12

I have been told that I have extremely low B12. After doing research I have found that people with very low B12 have the same symptoms as MS patients, ie vertigo, numbness, ON, lesions, etc. All the symptoms that I have. My question do most patients have low B12 or is it possible that I have been mi...

What does this mean?

I had an MRI 10 days ago. My Neuro called today and said no new lesions, but the ones you have are more prominent now. Does "more prominent" mean anything? I'm so confused, please explain if you can.

Thanks,

Samantha

Medications

Hi, I was on Rebif for 2 months, but was taken off because of allergic reaction. 1 month later I started Copaxone, but was allergic to that too. I saw an allergist and my Neuro, no one knows what to do for me next. Apparently Mannitol is in all of the CRAB's and that's what I seem to be allergic to....

Does Lesion Count Matter?

Hi,

I have been diagnosed with 23 lesions, does that matter or is 1 lesion the same as 23? I don't know if the lesion count matters or if doesn't predict what type of MS I will eventually have.

Please give me some information.

Thanks,

Samantha

Hi,

I was diagnosed after my first ON attack. I went to the Dr then in the hospital for 1 week as well as an MRI and within 1 day of MRI they confirmed it was MS. Hopefully you do not have MS, but just have ON. Have your Dr's givin you any information as to what next?

Good luck!

Does anyone get extremely dizzy?

Hi, I was taken off Rebif 2 weeks ago and have felt fine. All of a sudden the dizzyness I felt before going on medication is back. Has this happened to anyone and if so did your Dr do anything? I'm nervous because my Dr said each relapse requires hospitalization for steroids, but I don't know if thi...

Switching meds...

Hi, I was on Rebif until last week and will be changing to a new medication next week. For those that have switched meds do you start out at low dosage again? Also do you feel the same initial pain as you did when you began your first treatment? I'm worried that I was finally feel good on Rebif, but...

Has anyone changed from Rebif to one of the ABC's?

Hi, I have been on Rebif for 2 months after being diagnosed with RRMS. I was told I am allergic to Rebif and need to try a new med. Can anyone tell me what differences they have found from Rebif to one of the other's?

Thanks,

Samantha
