Re: New Trail is called Abili-T

As a former IIb trial participant who believes in the medication, I hope that they get it approved somehow, some way. If going the progressive MS route is the way to go, then I'm for it. Obviously, folks saddled with that disease progression also need all the help that they can get. I assume this is...

Hey, let's wait some more!

This is gonna be a super long road...even longer than I imagined. Ah well. Copaxone seems to be upholding its end of the bargain so far.

Hope everybody else is hanging in as well.

It's been a long time since I've put much thought into it, so the exact specifics don't come to mind but, if you'll remember, calling in interested participants of past clinical trials isn't a departure from what Opexa has done in the past in earlier extension trials What I remember reading from Op...

I remember reading somewhere after the sell out that their intent is to start a new Phase IIb trial, not a Phase III. Much cheaper and they can then hopefully structure it so they can actually, this time for sure, hit their end points. I don't see any way that they would be allowed to bring us back ...

I'm not crazy about the choices but it seems the only realistic option is nationalized health care because the only other option is no health care for me in my old age and for my children's generation. Agreed. And as a small business owner, I am right at this very moment considering killing our hea...

Hey Patrick, Good to talk with you after a somewhat non-self imposed break. Lars D00d! You're down from the mountains? How is your beard going? Are you talking to squirrels yet and are they talking back? In English? I am quite jealous actually. Quite. And very good advice. I've spent the time carin...

And for the most part, I guess I'd say you should be glad you didn't or you would have lost it, and not just on Opexa! Don't I know. Originally I had planned on retiring before I died of old age! Amen brother. I'm more than willing to jump back into the program. :D When I told my wife about the sto...

Bob, Why would any of us submit to further testing with no carrot? Most don't respond for the good of science. I'm sure a few would. I'm not at all sure I'd be one of them though. Give me my vaccine currently sitting in a cooler in The Woodlands and then we're talking! I think the proof is in the re...

Not suspicious to me. Their problems were that too many un-sick people like me were randomized into vaccine group. So they take a subset of that with ARR≥1 and they're in business. Another way to parse the data and they're doing it on the sickest of their patients. So to get into the next study, we ...

Hi folks! Still alive and still alternating between caregiving and digging out when a chance presents itself. My neuro on Friday (MRI shows no new lesions) strongly recommended that I get onto a DMT promptly in hopes of transitioning to the new oral therapy in the late spring when it is available. S...

Hi all. I'm still fine. I was on vaccine and my symptoms have been stable for the last two years. Since March, I have been down in Houston dealing with helping my mom through pancreatic cancer treatment, so for once, my MS is the last thing on my mind. That's a novel feeling for me, but a horrible w...

There is no doubt that MS can easily make someone wish they'd consumed anti-freeze at some earlier point in time. Oh I know. That's why I said that. I'm just not at that place, or the worms place, right at this point. I AM at the "I need to get my fatter ass to the health club again" phas...

I read this as a press release that's fishing for investors more than a sign that they have anything at all concrete on the way. If they did, my hunch is they would have kept quiet until it finalized.

Hope I'm wrong.

Seriously though, I'm sure they're wonderfully benign little critters, and I did read some of the small sample size studies, and I am sure that there is a stage of this F'ing disease where I will likely try drinking radiator fluid if somebody can hint that it will somehow help (hey, dogs love the st...
