Isn't it great how a company can make a comical title out of a serious problem and then make money off of it?

My achilles bother me a lot of the time. It takes a while for them to get stretched out and quit being sore.

What if you're on Copaxone then? The mannitol in the copaxone is believed to temporarily open the blood brain barrier, would the coffee(caffeine) then negate the effects of Copaxone?

My mother had hyperthyroidism and had to have a thyroidectomy. It was one of the few things I had to say about my family's health that any of my neuros were even slightly interested in.

Congrats, Matt! That's a wonderful accomplishment. The Copaxone won't really make a difference in your running abilities, it wasn't created to heal axonal damage...but it will hopefully keep a relapse at bay, and help you maintain your level of mobility. My husband has been on Copax over a year, an...

My body temperature as always been a bit more than a degree lower than 98.6. I think the average temp. is actually the average of many different people but there is a range where it is perfectly normal. It is interesting though that how many of us with MS have the lower body temp. Yet another thing ...

My first race on Copaxone

Today I ran my first race, a 5K, while on Copaxone. I noticed no difference between now and my last race prior to the beginning of my treatment. My legs don't feel quite the same as they used to(years ago) but it could just be lack of training. I ran to a third place finish overall(out of 170) aroun...

I don't know if it would help or not but refer her to this site. Show her that there are lots of people who have MS and live fairly normal lives. A big thing on this site that I've noticed is spouses that come on here and seem to be more interested in finding out new things about MS than the people ...

I've been tested for Lyme 3-4 times(all negs) and I think they did two different tests. I've been bitten by a few ticks and I wonder if the test would be available in my area to do. I don't think I could travel to Canada for a test either.

Early treatment seems like a joke. I just had a call from the hospital and they have postponed my appointment from tomorrow until the 29th May. It's already been postponed once and now I have to wait another 2 months to find out whether I have MS or something else, all the while I have no fucking s...

Cooties are imaginary bugs or germs. Little boys say girls have cooties when they are going through that girl-hating stage, and the little girls will say boys have cooties when they are going through their boy-hating stage. When they get to adolescence, they seem to forgot about cooties and start c...

Hey Matt delighted to hear your first two injections have gone well. The variable needle does work well. When I was very slim I used a 4 on my legs, 6 on stomach and it worked great being able to vary it depending on the level of subcutaneous fat. Hope the injections continue to go well! It stung a...

Injection #2 on my back stung for a bit but I can't even tell where I got it now. All my worry for nothing!

I found out today that if you have MS you can't join the Peace Corps without 10 relapse free years.
