Whenever I read these articles I have to wonder how valid the results are since each case of MS is unique. Specifically what I would call into question is that 1/3 of non-users were considered mentally impaired while 2/3 of MJ patients were considered mentally impaired. Even with 1900 people that's ...

I have very similar symptoms. I often have trouble recalling words and I'm not as quick in conversation as I used to be, it is quite alarming. Oddly enough I awoke last night with my head entirely clear for the first time in more than a year and I took advantage by getting out of bed(at 3 AM) and fi...

Ever felt like you needed that jolt

of energy to snap out of being sleepy? I've felt like doing little more than sleeping over the past few days and I just can't seem to snap out of it. I tried exercising some, I tried coffee, I tried jumping into a really cold pool but I just feel like sleeping. Working like that is the pits! Any tips?

I no longer get headaches, or very rarely just as the general population does, but in my junior high school years I got them all the time. I went to doctors, optometrists, allergists and none of them came up with anything. After a year and a half or so of at least one bad headache a week they just s...

On the subject of diet: I attempted to go vegetarian. I took all the right supplements and ate all the right foods but I still felt progressively worse. I had to start eating meat again and I feel fine now. I still can't eat much beef(makes me sick to my stomach) but I'm able to buy much of my chick...

Re: THE EXPERIENCE OF PATIENTS WITH MARIJUANA

I was first told of the diagnosis of MS in 1991 (on my 35th birthday) this was just a few weeks following an unbelievably acrimonious divorce, my wife having thrown me out claiming that she was sick of me being tired all the time, and then telling her solicitor that I was a heroin addict, a totally...

I was depressed for the longest time and I didn't see anyone for it. Finally this summer after I got my heart broken I went and saw someone. After a month or so I started to feel better generally and it got better throughout the fall. Now that winter is here I'm feeling down again and I'm thinking a...

I've never read that lassitude and spasticity could be side effects of Copaxone but that doesn't mean it's not true.

Good luck with your neck and spine MRI!

I wonder what the specific difference is between men and women when it comes to reaction to Copaxone. I've not had any site reactions beyond the initial sting and occasional tiny welt. Granted the area is a bit sore to the touch(barely noticeable though) but it just is nothing like many of the women...

Would that promote repair of my optical nerve? I don't like to complain because I feel lucky to be in as good of shape as I am but I'd truly like to have my full vision back.

I've not been a fan of iced green tea but I've never brewing my own cup of green tea. I've heard that too much green tea can lead to kidney stones as well, is there any truth in this?
