Shall I Stop Rebif now waiting for Tysabri?

Hello, I saw my neuro Tuesday and he would like me to start Tysabri. I am pleased about it (although it means my MS is progressing which sucks) though it will be a bit of time til I start - have to have another MRI and a lumber puncture first. My question is, can I stop my Rebif now? As he has said ...

Hiya, thanks so much everyone for your replies. I did have my iron levels tested initially, but not since. I certainly feel very weak and dizzy, and quite sick as well? However I do take my multi vit and minerals daily, do you guys think I should double it for the minute? I had a scan yesterday, the...

Update

Hello, Just an update on this problem I'm having. I've continued to bleed daily as in like a heavy period, with a couple of episodes of 'flooding' over the last week. Then last night, well early hours of the morning really between 4am and 7am I had 6 episodes of sudden flooding of blood. Then once u...

Been back to the doctors

Hi everyone, just to update you :) went to the dr today. Blood tests showed nothing except high blood sugar, so I've got to have another one thursday after a 12hr fast.

Also waiting now for a hospital app for further investigations.

Going back on the Best Bet Diet

Hiya everyone. I followed the BBD for the first 6 months of the year, I stuck to it really well but found it so so hard I came off it. A couple of things I've stuck to, well one which is that I have rice milk. Also I don't really have beans. Anyway. I looked back over my 'ms diary' that I keep the o...

Hi Redsonja. The dr told me to take ibuprofen to stop the bleeding. i'M STILL bleeding but in a 'normal' way, rather than the flooding it was. It's jjust hard with work and things, I'm in a relapse with my right leg so exhausted anyway, and then this isn't helping! Have to work tho as otherwise I do...

Thanks for your messages. Alley - I am on Rebif so I guess it could be thAT? I will speak to my MS nurse. Seems a bit odd tho as I've been on it for a year now. I have had this bleeding problem before, but only twice in the last 8 years - this was before I was on rebif. Anyway, I saw my doctor and h...

ladies' problem and gabapentine/baclofen

Hiya, I started gabapentine a week ago, and baclofen 2 weeks ago. Over the weekend and last night (3 nights out of 4) I have had EXTREMELY heavy bleeding. I'm not going to be course but we're talking about (apologises) flooding, not just a heavy period. I wondered if it could be the tablets, prob ga...

Hiya, I started baclofen a week ago. I'm still on a really low dose so perhaps thats why I haven't seen the effects you have yet. I started on hALF a tablet 3 x a day, I've gradually gone up to 1 tablet 3 x a day. The first time I took it I pretty much fell asleep straight away at 2 in the afternoon...
