Topic: Schoolboy’s petition prompts move on MS link to vitamin D

I know some of us feel better when taking vitamin D. But I don't like the sound of this. A schoolboy got the Scottish Parliament to assume a link between MS and vitamin D. This may or may not be true. Making a petition does not make it any more true than it was before. But it may give Parliament a r...

Thighs are not a good place. You need a good layer of fat to inject into. I use behind and occasionally stomach - plenty of fat there! I tried thighs and upper arms and it was awful.

My first definite symptom of MS was a big headache behind the left eye and foggy vision. This is optic neuritis. I thought it was brain cancer myself, it was quite a relief only to have MS. You sound pretty MSy to me, sorry.

Sorry folks, I am a sceptic in this as everything else. Being in The Huffington Post puts CCSVI in the snake oil category. Not good at all.

I have been a Cop junkie for four years now. I put on a kilo in the last year, but I reckon that is probably menopause, since I got all the other fun things too. Anyway I'm getting the weight off now.

I visited Sudbury a few years ago. Looks like the surface of the moon, only with a million little freshly planted trees. A fantastic trip down the nickel mine. An amazing museum, called Canada North, I think. Brilliant place. At Christmas we call the cousins and ask how much snow they've got. "...

What motivates me? I just need to watch my sister hobbling along on her crutch, or doodling along in her Moby.

As far as I am concerned, Cop is the only thing keeping me out of a wheelchair. That's a pretty good motivation.

I never use the front of the thigh, only behind. Cooling after the jab is the great helper.

I find the lumps are not visible, though I can feel them.

>I strongly question the motives of the researchers. All the scientists I know are motivated mainly by unquenchable curiosity. This is really very interesting. Imagine the rascally little T-cells creeping about and suddenly darting into the brain tissue. But why? Does it taste better on the other si...

Well, welcome to a very fine forum full of civilised people.

You get used to MS, though you may not believe me right now. You bounce back every time. You seem a bouncy person anyway!

There is plenty of evidence that the drugs help some of us. (No guarantee that you are one.) But if you think all drugs are trash then you will not be trying them anyway. Doing nothing does not help in any way. Try and keep fit, follow a healthy diet, avoid stress. No guarantees there either. Life i...
