Re: Cooling pillow?

I'm looking for something for sleep though... I have cold packs and tried them on my pillow and: - they are too cold at first and then the cold goes away TOO quickly - they move - they aren't that comfortable I'm a really sucky sleeper, so those things don't help. I recently found this online: http:...

SMIV: not working?

I got SMIV last week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for a bad relapse. It was 1g each day (I think). It was my first time getting this. Haven't noticed any change yet (it's been 3 days since the last dose)... Does it mean it didn't work, or just too early? :(

I definitely understand you on the libido (or lack of it)... I'm going through the same thing. :(

I'm currently on Rebif, but I'm keep my eyes open for the news and info on Gilenya. It's still not approved here in Canada, but it's been 'recommended'.

I take Rebif 3 times a week... have been since August 2008, shortly after my diagnosis.

You think that's what it is? :(

the numbness ... sensory? or do you mean more apathetic about sex? Thank you for your reply. I'll definitely try the Zinc (50mg/day) I meant the numbness as in 'more apathetic about sex', yes. But I do find that MS has reduced my ability to feel things on my skin, in a lot of areas... and I think i...

Feeling of 'numbness' (not physical)

I just posted another thread that's more specific to one thing... but I wanted your opinion on this too. It's hard to explain, but I find that in the past couple of years, it's almost like I'm a spectator to my own life.... I'll feel anger and sadness and depression, but the hapiness part, I feel it...

Lack of sex-drive

I hope my message won't get deleted or blocked, as it's nothing bad... I'm a 32 year old female with MS. I was diagnosed in 2008. I find that for the past 2 years, my sex-drive is almost non-existant... :( I used to have a pretty high sex-drive before I was diagnosed. My husband is very understandin...

How did you feel after giving birth?

I've been reading that something like 90% of women have a relapse the first year after giving birth... And also that women with MS are more at risk of postpartum depression.

Trying to decide...

Hi! I'm a 31 (almost 32) year-old woman. I was diagnosed with MS in 2008 (although our suspicions are that I've had it since 2003 or so). Anyways, my hubby and I got married in July 2009. I'm still trying to figure out if I should have a child or not... I feel like the clock's ticking and don't have...

I've been reading on the forum for a while and I can't seem to find how to contact Dr. Haacke's clinic to see if I can get tested in Hamilton (I'm in Ottawa) Canada?

Does anyone know how to contact them? I did searches on Google, but didn't find it...

Hi Shortcake, I have MS as well, although an extreme mild case of it. Benign as far as I am concerned. Are you getting treatment at the General? Mondays or Thursdays? I am a test subject for teriflunomide. Maybe we'll meet up someday. Danny (Ottawa) Hi Danny! I'm on the other side of the river, so ...
