Foot Drop
Has anyone out there had any luck with a brace for foot drop? I have foot drop in one foot and seems to be getting worse. However, I am still strong in that leg. I have seen numerous braces advertised but hate to waste $$ on a device that won't help. Also I am skeptical of much advertising. Thanks f...

MS lassitude
When I'm tired, achy, cranky, etc., if I do a little yoga I do find myself refreshed and feeling some better. Sometimes it is just hard to force myself to exercise. But it does make me feel better.

ampyra
Would like to know if anyone has received ampyra through rx channels yet? I've had rx from neuro, blood work done, and am waiting to hear...it has been a little over 1 week. Hopefully, insurance won't pose a problem and will have reasonable co-pay.
Thanks for any feed back,

To the FDA... I want to TRY this drug.....it may work, it may not, but please, at least give me the opportunity to try it at my OWN risk!!! I tried to get in a trial 5 years ago and was told I walked too well. Now I don't walk that well. Just let me TRY it. Very frustrating when I am willing to risk...

Hey Katie...that is just the book I have! I've done gentle yoga classes for a couple of years now. Its great for mind and body. I used to run, play tennis, and do aerobics. Wish I still could but yoga is what I do now.

There are yoga classes designed for people with various issues including ms. I would highly recommend it. Also there are books on the subject. Hope you can find something that will meet your needs.

do you think there will be a cure?
Perhaps. But the drug companies make so much money off of MS they will keep it under wraps as long as possible.
Sorry to feel so negative but I have waited so-o long for fampridine to become available and I see it being put off constantly.
