Re: A Different Rose (sweeter-smelling?)

My husband's friend told him it had just come on and he turned the channel 15 minutes into the show. I didn't know who was on it until they spoke. I did like seeing Hauser because now there's a face with the name, but I felt like he was performing and was insincere

Re: A Different Rose (sweeter-smelling?)

I watched the first half hour and managed to fall asleep as my blood bolied. I sure hope my veins are still opened!

It felt like a PBS version of a Biogen infomercial.....validated by the addition of the academics.

Re: Moffitt in FL suspends CCSVI procedures

Moffitt gave Dr. Arslan a hard time for awhile. They are a cancer center. No surprise that they aren't doing the procedure. Dr. Arslan left.

Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

The FDA statement, which is very one-sided, makes me believe there's a bigger agenda than Dr. Mehta not having and IDE. The dr in CA who instigated it was targeting Dr. Arata. The Italian MS Society trying to sue Zamboni was ludacris. The backlash against CCSVI seems to be louder and there is disreg...

Hey Marc,

You did good! The camera definitely distorted you. But what you said is what matters.

Re: FDA Shutting Down CCSVI Research

Hey Squeakycat,

It sounds like my neuro, Aaron Miller, the head neuro for the NMSS talking. The only thing missing was "You are going to die on the table."

Re: FDA Shutting Down CCSVI Research

It took one day for the NMSS to jump into the game and turn it around to benefit their biggest supporters - pharma and the neuros.

Re: FDA Shutting Down CCSVI Research

Thanks for posting mossmanor! BNAC is amazing . I was in the first big ccsvi study along with a few other old-time tims members in Sept 2009. BNAC is top notch. I'm on their patient advisory board and very proud of the studies they are doing, the discoveries they keep making and their deedication to...

Re: FDA Shutting Down CCSVI Research

And what about BNAC @ SUNY Buffalo? They have a treatment trial going on and are the lead researchers for everything ccsvi. They are a research university, publishing constantly, and they could never proceed without all the proper approvals in place. I think Mehta screwed up, but I also bet the lobb...

Re: Has anyone been treated by Dr. Arslan?

Good luck but you won't need it. I've met Dr. Arslan and he's great. He worked under Dake in VA and as been plugged into CCSVI since the beginning. He's warm and friendly and genuine. I personally know Barbara Garcia, Nicki Beagle Watts and several others treated by him (most more than once), and th...

I'm sooo happy you are ok. Listen to your body and take care of it, my good (great) doctor. There's a world of family, friends, and patients who love you. Rest up and force yourself to relax.
