I thought I got the 250 nmol/L from some research paper but I can't find it now. I guess I'll try getting 15 minutes of sun per day this summer and check it again in September. If it's a good level, I'll take the 5000IU daily through the winter and see if I maintain it.

I used the Nature Made 5000IU. I took 2 per day for about 3 months and had my blood tested. It was only 49, within "normal range," but well short of the 250 I was shooting for. So I don't think the 5000IU is accurate at all. Hopefully someone knows of a supplement that is as potent as adve...

So far, what percentage of patients are you finding with azygous stenosis?

All 16 MS patients fulfilled the diagnosis of CCSVI (median VH = 4 and median VHISS = 9) and none of the HC (Table 1) (P < 0.001, Fisher's exact test). This means a CCSVI prevalence in this small group of MS patients of 100%, with prevalence of 0% in HC.

I'm curious, what say the various researchers who have successfully published studies demonstrating their inability to find CCSVI at all?

uprightdoc, do you think it's possible CCSVI could alter CSF flow/pressure enough to cause syringomyelia? I have CCSVI and idiopathic syringomyelia (T7-T9). I do not have Chiari or tethered cord syndrome.

Mark, the Hubbard Foundation's protocol includes doing the Haacke MRI which is more about assessing and tracking iron accumulation in the brain.
