This is a new truck. LOL! He bought one of those Dodge 4500's so it's like a commercial truck. Made for people who WORK OUTSIDE! He does not. LOL! He wanted it so we could move our own stuff when we got orders for yet another duty station. He was sneaky about it. One day I was driving it and it was ...

I know a lot of people who swear by them. I think they're a definite must for those of us suffering from heat sensitivity and want to continue to live normally during the warmer months. Check out this site: http://www.msaa.com/programs/cooling/ They're not the most fashionable things but they do the...

NHE - I love the description about causing them to commit suicide. LOL! Lew -Hilarious! I'll probably have that same feeling (wanting to kill someone) while on it. I'm lucky in the fact that I don't really have issues with insurance. We have military insurance and they'll pretty much pay for anythin...

Thank you all for the excellent advice. The weird thing is that when I saw my Ophthamologist a few months ago they said my eyes looked great! And when I had a VEP, no issues there either. I've had the blurred vision for a while but told the doc at my appointment that it is worsening. It's blurrier a...

Steroids

Yesterday I had my neuro check up and he thinks I'm in a relapse. This is my first relapse since being diagnosed. They ordered a MRI asap and after they review the results of that they want me to start on steroids. I would normally say "no way!" and just tough it out but this is a vision t...

Will You Support Me on my MS Walk?

Hey Everyone! I'm doing my first MS Walk sponsored by the National MS Society on April 10, 2010. My husband and I hope to raise $1,000 by that day, 64 days away. The money we raise will support education, advocacy, research, and local programs that enhance the quality of life for people with MS and ...

I agree with NHE. And if you haven't already, give Shared Solutions a call and speak to one of the nurses. Good luck! Hope she gets well soon.

Ampyra Approved

FYI...

A new drug called Ampyra was approved today to help with walking issues for adults with MS. I don't know much about it but if you just google 'Ampyra', there's a lot of info there.

Ah well, I had a 50/50 shot on the sex. LOL! She's a cutie! And that's the next dog on my wish list. We have three, a Yorkie, German Shepherd, and a Great Dane. I think an English Bulldog will fit right in, between the Yorkie and Shepherd. :D

I haven't read all the responses to your question (hope I'm not repeating) but I do a little bit of everything. Some light cardio here and there, walking on the treadmill at a high incline to help define and strengthen my calves. The elipitical machine and the bike. I also do weight training, mainly...

Welcome to TIMS! Originally from Houston but currently living in California. Don't necessarily miss it but I wouldn't mind seeing my family again, only for a few days at a time though. :)

Wish you well.

P.S. Sounds like you need a more exciting dog.

Hi Deb, If all those things started once you started injecting, then I would feel strongly that they're related. Call Shared Solutions and see what the nurses there think. They're more familiar with the Copaxone side effects than your Neuro is. I had some heart palpitations a few times after injecti...
