regarding the Swank diet
Hey, Mamacita, Glad to hear you and your husband are having good results with the Best Bet diet. I am on the Swank diet and believe that his diet is a healthy one to prevent all sorts of ailments, including diabetes type II, which both of my parents have. I have MS and have had is since 1998, when I...

thoughts on MS treatment and injections
Hi jules, I understand about not yet having the diagnosis and thinking ahead to an injectible treatment. I am someone who never thought I could give myself injections. In 2003 I decided to go on Rebif after dx. I now inject myself 3 times a week. I do not suffer from the side effects that are descri...

Timeliness and usefulness of my response?
Hi!
I'm on Rebif and have been since the summer of 2003 when I got my dx. I am always happy to share about my experiences.
I noticed that the initial posting was from quite a while ago.
Please let me know if you'd like any further information from me about my experience.
Thanks!

ciao chicca!
Ah, so the USA, in my opinion, is behind many other nations in terms of health care. Yes, we have to worry about access to the medicine that is proven to keep us free from futher disability. If we don't take the medicine, we could become "burdens" of the state. But if we can't afford the m...

thoughts about long-tern efficacy of Rebif?
Hi all, I have been hearing from people I know with MS who choose not to be on a drug that Rebif and Avonex lose their efficacy with time. They are most effective the first couple of years. I am on the net searching for information. Any links or information you have found on this topic? Thanks in ad...

RE: evidence about long term efficacy of CRABS
Hi all, Just curious. I am on Rebif and have been stable with no relapses and no new symptoms for 5 years! YAY! I have heard from some fellow people with MS who choose to go drug free that Rebif and Avonex are effective only in the first couple of years and then lose their effectiveness. I am on the...

Hi Treez and all, Happy to see a lively thread about the Swank diet here as I like the Swank diet and go often to the Swank diet website. (same Treez, I'm assuming! :)) As I have said here, there and will say here again, I really like the Swank diet. I started the diet a little before my dx. I start...

Hi Rozo and all, I have been on the Swank diet about a year and a quarter. I have Swank's book but have not read Jelinek's yet. I have to tell you that I love the diet. I started it after an attack that I thought would lead to dx of MS. I started before the dx and before starting on Rebif. I have fo...
