15 months post campath

Am on a TON of meds, but they are for HBP, neuropathic pain (cymbalta), and vits B and D. Now I also take provigil, because I work long hours and was falling asleep at the wheel. Hated to add this, but preferable to hugging a tree at 50 miles an hour, or harming someone else. Definately feel the eff...

campath s/p round 2

The palpatations are still with me almost 3 months post, however they are much resolved. My cardiac w/u was normal. Subjectively, I feel like I am slipping. However, objectively, I am improving. I guess the least I can say is that I am holding my own. Still working long hours full time, but doing le...

I finished my second set of infusions about 3 weeks ago. Like the first time, I tolerated it well, without any symptoms to speak of. I didn't even get a rash this time, just a red face and chest that resolved fairly quickly. One strange thing is that the night I finished the 3rd infusion, I started ...

Yes, leetz, that's right. Dead vaccines only. The new H1N1 is dead, and I plan to get it. The nasal one is live, so just say no!

Yes, they check wbc counts monthly, as well as a slew of other things. My wbc has slowly been climbing, finally breaking 3 at 5 months.

At almost 6 months, I am doing very well. I no longer have the wierd neuropathic pain in my groin, but still take the cymbalta. I DID cut back from 80 mg to 60. Yesterday I developed bad eye pain. I thought I scratched my cornea, but now I am wondering if I have optic neuritis? Anyway, other than th...

I feel better than I have in 20 years! I am ready and willing to sign up for year Two! O do not miss...

Trixie: Thanks for posting! My research nurse finally told me it is okay, as long as I don't get any live viruses. The flu shot is a dead virus. I got it about 2 weeks ago, and all is good. As a healthcare worker (RN) my state has mandated it unless I have a very specific dr's note. Any way, I am fi...

That is not an especially high dose, except that if you need that much, you probably should be getting it IV.
Something for your tummy and sleep is standard.

I have had similar concerns, altho with less dramatic presentation, with my DD that is 21. I have long thought her to be clumsey and uncoordinated, well before my dx. Does anyone see something familiar here? Anyway, since she got mono a year ago, she has not seemed weel, and really messed up her jun...

Oops. You are correct, Agate. That post was from 2006!
Well, I'm gonna take a stab at the book anyway. I'm going on a little 5 day trip to Cozumel on the 17th, and was looking for some good things to read. Any suggestions?
