No hair loss here I'm afraid, its been 7 months, and no side effects. Hey, DM, so the Extended trial, does that mean you are now defiantly on the real drug for the foreseeable future?

CIS

After two weeks holiday, where I wasn't drinking to excess, but a fair few beers each day, my blood test showed problems with high liver enzymes, so either I'm on the real drug, or my liver ...

I felt nothing as well, so we're either all on the Placebo, or that "test" is useless, i suspect the latter as Phase II showed just as many of the Placebo takers reported side effects as the active drug. In fact more people on the Placebo reported Nausea and Diarrhoea that those on Active....

Mikey,

The thought process that swung me on to signing up was, you can opt out any time, you only get one chance to opt in.

Been on it 5 weeks now, no side effects, hardest part is remembering to take the pill.

Phase III

Thanks DM for checking that out. Well I'm on the trial, 2 weeks now and so far no side effects what so ever. If you are interested, getting the Phase II trial notes for $20 makes interesting reading. With the side effects, and liver problems were the same in the Placebo (If not more!!). So as far as...

UK user

Hi, I'm about to start in Phase III of the trial. I had my first attack 2 months ago, and so far everything has been very mild thankfully. Thanks DM, your posts are reassuring. One question that I've got, in the UK, we have this warning on the trial docs "Excessive alcohol use (current UK guide...
