Re: 6 Months In

I have just seen this as I have been away camping as I am so much better. I finished the Wheldon protocol a couple of years ago now and I'm still continuing to improve. The treatment saved my life I believe - I was deteriorating fast before starting and was heading towards SPMS. I always suspected I...

Re: Has anyone improved their walking from the Wheldon proto

I'd be curious (and amused) to know how a neuro could pronounce that someone's swallowing has improved. Why on earth would one not be able to determine for ONESELF that slurring speech, finger coordination, swallowing, numbness and tingling had, or had not, improved? Haha! I've just seen this (I've...

Re: Started David Wheldon Treatment today!!

Hello
I am another success story for Dr Wheldon's treatment. Do persevere with it and let us know how you're getting on. Remember you won't be able to judge it's effects for quite a while and you will likely feel worse at times as the bacteria die off and release their poisons.

Good luck!

Re: Has anyone improved their walking from the Wheldon proto

Hi Adam I don't know my EDS score but I could still walk around without a stick albeit with difficulty. Using stairs I had to use the handrail and take it very slowly and concentrate hard. Other symptoms which have also resolved are slurring speech, difficulties in finger coordination, swallowing di...

Re: 4 Months In

Hi Marcopolo I have just seen your post and I hope you are getting on OK with Flagyl. I did the Swank diet before starting abx and I have to say I think it contributed to my illness becoming more aggressive (though I know some do well on the diet). I think fat soluble vitamins as well as phospholipi...

Re: Has anyone improved their walking from the Wheldon proto

Hi Adam Yes, I did the Wheldon protocol for RRMS and my walking and balance have improved substantially. I was never bad enough to need a mobility aid but I experienced frequent foot drag and a feeling that my legs were so heavy it was hard to walk. I also had trouble going down stairs both because ...

Re: Grounding?

I have had a grounding mat for about a week. I'm sleeping better and waking more alert. It does feel odd though - I can feel old MS damage coming to the surface - I hope this is a healing thing as I feel good in other ways. I am going to continue cautiously.

Re: why do antibiotics and immonsupressing both work?

Have just seen this - as Sarah said many of us have done the abx and are now getting on with our lives instead of hanging around on MS forums. It's wonderful! Dr Wheldon kindly treated me and I have now been off the protocol for quite a while and doing really well. Old damage still flares a little w...

Re: Wahls diet discussion

Hello there I've been doing a paleo diet which I now realise is very similar to Terry Wahls' suggestions for about 18 months. Prior to this I did the Wheldon antibiotic protocol and this was very helpful in stopping my MS progression but I have noticed further increases in energy and general health ...

Re: Doing well after antibiotic treatment

Thanks for your replies - it is wonderful to be feeling so much better. The anti inflammmatory spices thing is interesting. Most herbs and spices inhibit inflammatory pathways which are known to be involved in MS (why can't the researchers look into this rather than inventing new chemicals which hav...

Doing well after antibiotic treatment

Hello there Haven't posted in a while - I've been getting on with my life! Just wanted to give an update of the results of my antibiotic treatment. I did the Wheldon protocol (thank you so much Dr Wheldon adn Sarah!) and I am now been off the treatment for about a year. My previous increasingly aggr...

I agree Robbie - though I've found it's usually health professionals of various kinds who are sceptical. This unfortunates includes many of my friends since I am a health professional myself! Like you many of my improvements are invisible - eg. I have stopped feeling cold and shivery after 20 years ...

Hello I have been on the Wheldon protocol for about 18 months and feel tons better - like you I always thought it must be viruses but the abx have undoubtedly produced a massive improvement in all sorts of areas. I might think about doing something antiviral like Monolaurin at some stage but i want ...

Hi Robbie
I'm in the same position - had my last MRI 18 months before I started abx so it would be difficult to assess the results of an MRI now even if my neuro would pay for one! It will be very interesting to see your next one - fingers crossed for you.

Hi Robbie I have been pulsing for over a year now - it has undoubtedly got much much easier - I felt like death in the beginning - now I mainly just feel too hot - I'm hoping it will reduce my heating bills this winter! I have found I have to increase my frequency of probiotics when i'm pulsing othe...
