Re: Side effects

hi, my wife (RRMS since 2004) has started with 30 mg DMF-capsules (yes it does not come from the organized crime, but from a Swiss pharmacist at about 7 % of the price of Biogen...), first once a day, then twice. With that low dose we already saw a very good effect on her walking capacities: 300 m a...

hi cheer, thank you for bringing the platelets into the disussion. One question that I was thinking about is the possible role of platelet aggregation inhibitors in the ms treatment. Low molecular Heparins are not expansive and they don`t have severe side effects. Anticoagulation therapy (with subst...

LDN: All fuzz, no buzz

Hi, I`d like to ask you, if the experience of my wife is unique or common: after starting with LDN 3 mg/d, she realized, that there wasn`t any positive effects any more from drinking a glass of wine or eating one of these THC cookies, just a foggy brain. I read that Naltrexon is not only used for op...

Hi, it is known from autopsy studies since decades, that there are as many "silent ms" cases as known ms patients. So these silent ms people never had symptoms that lead to an ms diagnosis (before death). Of course, diagnosis was not so easy at this time without MRI. The CCSVI explanation ...

Hi, I remember the time before my wife`s ms was diagnosed. She suffered from heavy shoulder pain of the right side, and there were no tender points or other typical shoulder problems. So we were not able to find a useful therapy for it. Knowing about CCSVI explains the problem... years later. The ms...

Hi Cheer, interesting philosophical debate! I already admitted, that I met Dr. Schelling in the early eighties, and that I was not so much interested in hearing his wild theories about ms... I think we are all prisoners within our own brains. And even those who do research, are looking to their left...

Hi cheer, I`m deeply impressed by your never ending work and the stringent argumentation of your posts. Thank you so much. Let`s hope, that Zamboni will ( if so) share his Nobel price with you.... One interesting question of my wife: did you ever seena study, that links ms with date of birth resp. w...

finding parallels

Reading your posts I remembered things I`ve learnt about "normotensive hydrocephalus". That means, that there is more liquor in the ventricles, but tension is normal. It is a disease, that produces symptoms such as problems with urine continence, walking disorders and light cognitive impai...

Dr.D

No! (Unfortunately, I would like to see hin))

First: it`s my wife who has MS, and second: Dr. D is in Italy then (and 3: it cannot be our goal to have this treatment in US, the Swiss medical system should be able to the job - we have to wait a few months, I think).

CCSVI, suggestions

Hi cheer, it`s such a pity: I live about 300 km away from Bologna... and what will I do? I`ll spend 10 days in California at the time of the conference. Without that plan, I sure would have booked a hotel in Bologna. Would be nice to meet you in Italy! My opinion about spreading the revolutionary ne...
