Acorda has not priced this yet, they say by March. During many of their presentations at investor conf, they have indicated 5-10K but would dance around the answer when asked.

I exspect it to be some outrageous anount.

Ewalala, Great news! I'm so happy to hear someone from the US got treated in Poland. I have only 1 question - How are you taking blood thinners? Mostly since you had stents in Poland and you will need to take blood thinners. Who is writing the scrip and doing the follow up care? There is such a prob...

I'm sorry you are getting the run around. Maybe talking to your neuro or the tysabri person that signed you up for tysabri at your neuro office can help. I think they have different contacts.

You should contact biogen idec as they have an assistance program for the drug. Low income people can get the drug for free but the infusion cost is not covered since that is the infusion center charge.

I pay about $300 total an infusion out of pocket, includes the drug.

Judi,

I finally received "The Voices of MS". I had to order it as Borders only has it via mail order.

Your story was Very Good. I have read a few so far, tear jerkers as I am so emotional these days.

Hi Judi, I looked up your essay in The Voices of MS. I need to get it at Borders, hopefully this weekend. I live in Pittsboro and am very excited about CCSVI. Hopefully, it will gain traction in US in spite of the phama/biotec and general nero resistance to this. It's not a $$$$ drug so it can't wor...

I'm not really sure of when it started helping me. In fact, at first I thought it was not really working. Well, now I really feel it is helping me. I'm in NC and get it from Triangle Compounding. I am going to trying your place in CA. It probably won't be covered by any insurance because it is not a...

Yes, I have been taking 20 mg per day, 10mg morning and 10mg evening for about 13months now. It helps with my walking, not a lot but every bit is good. Mine costs about $4 per day. Acorda should get the up/down vote from fda in late Jan. If approved, it will be called some other name. I started with...

I tried Detrol LA for a few months, did nothing so I stopped.

I then tried EnableX which worked great on the bladder but the constiptation was too much so I stopped that too.

The newspaper is alittle slow, this has been thru phase 3 trial and awaiting the FDA decision, which should be this spring.

It is now called Ampriva. It was called fampridine SR but the company, Acorda, changed the name recently. acorda.com has all the info.

Sorry to hear you are having all of these problems. I took Rebif for 7 months and the biggest problem was the flu sx but my bloodwork was always not good and re-checked after every month. There was something wrong every time. I finally switched to Tysabri. I took a vacation of 15 days from Rebif bef...
