sounds like a potential explanation for why Buffalo found CCSVI in a decent clip of non-MS. CCSVI + immune dysfunction in conjunction could contribute to what is known as MS.

How does one explain someone who had major walking, balance issues pre angioplasty and then afterwawrd are fine, physically normal? I'd assume such an explanation could be akin to something like this: 1. being drunk causes walking and balance issues 2. having brain damage due to chronic abuse of al...

I am sorry for your loss but the incoherent rants are just not necessary and add nothing to the discourse.

May you find peace.

Still, it's hard to take the subjectivity of a writer/article seriously when he uses the word "scheme" more often than "the" or "a". basically Raftery chases away anyone interested in the facts by his constant and unending use of the word "scheme" among other...

to be honest I dont get why people see so much improvement. It almost weakens the arguement, since after liberation none of the damage is gone. And yes I think the lesions could have some lasting 'momentum' . I don't think it weakens the arguement. I believe it opens the door for all to re-evaluate...

From what I've read, there has been relapse/progression after the liberation procedure in several. This has been associated, in almost all cases, with restenosis.

It is important to be able to evaluate the data and interpretations of all research efforts done on CCSVI.. Could not agree more and could not have said it better. Please, be open minded to all research. Draw your own conclusions afterwards, but give everything an open and honest review. Without th...

what concerns me about the whole chemo treatment angle is the possibility that the inflammatory response being knocked out is actually 'proper' immune response to damage. That would lead me to believe that the neurodegenerative element of MS would continue in absence of inflammation and would again ...

part of the problem that I see with doctors today. Variations of what you asked are part of every job interview. Doctors work for us. Every meeting with us is an interview and/or job performance evaluation being coducted by the CEOs of our bodies - us. Every meeting should be viewed by them as such....

Re: Hello, new here (Wanted opinions from actual MS sufferer

Please do remember, the odds are very good that you don't have MS at all. Please do not take this as rudeness, but your post sounds like pure anxiety which is very, very common(and much more common than MS). Between now and when you are physically able to get an MRI, I would highly recommend spendin...

Let me start by saying I generally have only the slightest grasp on some of the things getting discussed here. That being said, the presence of EBV antibodies in the CSF always interested me, but not from the angle I've seen it discussed. Wouldn't their presence in CSF just be another indication of ...
