Re: The biotin trial results are out

We have just ordered 6 x 10g bags from purebulk. As CureOrBust said, there were no other bags available anymore. And the same approach, for next 6 month we will give it a try and until that time it could be more clear how it works, and also purebulk could restock. I hope it will not cause any seriou...

Re: Rooibos?

Based on the results bellow, it is hard to tell if Rooibos is increasing the bad IFN-gamma and IL-12 genotype or the good one. Two hundred and eleven patients with relapsing-remitting form of MS were enrolled in this study and compared with 359 healthy individuals. Using polymerase chain reaction ba...

Re: Anyone tempted to get fumaderm straight from Germany?

Pre-clinical studies and clinical trials have indicated that DMF is the most active FAE and that the additional FAE salts in the combination product Fumaderm are not required.[34]

Re: FIRST STEP-Vit D3 min for pwMS=125 nmol/L in blood

I had around 25 ug/L in November 2012 and my wife with MS had 62 ug/L. (She was taking D3 more often than me/ They measure it in these units in here). I didn't recalculate that well into nmol/L and ordered for both 10.000 IU daily with 30-60 mg Zinc and K2 45mcg as I wanted to achieve 125. I took 15...

Re: FIRST STEP-Vit D3 min for pwMS=125mmol/L (50ng/ml)

there is a mistake in the subject.
I hope it should say 125 nmol/L not mmol/L. And you can even extend it to 125nmol/L (50ng/ml) (50ug/L)

Re: Herpes treatment research

Great link the second one. Really worth reading. It adds support to my knowledge... My wife keeps telling me that always when I get herpes on my lips or nose, she starts to feel worse (her leg gets weaker, her fingers are more numb...). Or when she meets her mother or anybody with herpes. Either few...

Herpes treatment research

@admins: why isn't there any treatment thread for herpes viruses? I would add this link for example if there was one.

But there are so many more and nobody is discussing them.

Re: low dose benadryl (Dyphenhedramine)

CureOrBust, I don't think your links point to the same drug. Cough syrup and antihistamine is a different story. I am also surprised there hasn't been any trial on antihistamines as MS treatment. One can find questionable treatment with histamins (Prokarin or Procarin) but none for antihistamines ag...

Re: Must read article about aspirin

my wife is also taking aspirin 50mg daily. We may increase to 75. In Slovakia you can buy only 25mg or 100mg or 500mg. So we need to halve the 100mg + 1 tablet 25mg. she has homozygous MTHFR too + sticky platelet syndrome.

MS, SLE and antiphospholid syndrome

Hey everybody. I consider myself well educated about MS because of my wife living with this disease for 5 years. I have always suspected that CCSVI treatments are sometimes effective only because of baby aspirin and/or cleaxne course after the treatment. But now after 2 miscarriages in last 12 month...

I don`t understand how too much sun/vitamin D could have been the problem of autoimmune diseases. Historically people used to live outside and get their natural max. dose 10.000 IU from sun. Autoimmune diseases have evolved in recent years and what has changed since past is that people don`t live ou...

Thank you for the links, and for the essay. I am more inclined to supplement Vit D again but it would be great if someone could definitely describe the interactions between 25-D and 1,25D; and dismiss or confirm this alternative theory.
