So I am back... and not really much better than before. I am so out of balance that a strong wind can make me have to hold on to something to stay upright. I was reading online, that initial symptoms of imbalance and weakness translate to a poor prognosis. I have tried so far to not let this affect ...

Hi All, I am now really nervous. I do not experience fatigue. My right foot just refuses to lift off the ground. Every 10 seconds I walk, I need to sit down. Even after sitting down for an hour, I struggle to walk even for 10 seconds. And an overnight rest means that I can walk barely for a minute. ...

Severe Fatigue - Solution?

Hey friends, I have been diagnosed with MS since Oct2009. I have been on Copaxone prescription ever since and have been able to cope with my complications decently. But today was perhaps the worst day in my life. I was well rested yesterday, but could not manage a 500 meter walk to the bus stop. I c...

I am from a tropical country, India - no lack of sun there...(though it is true MS is practically unheard of in India)
And now I live in Texas - no lack of sun here..

Is this study considering people like me who have moved to different places?

Good to know I am not the only one. I am not too worried about the feeling. In fact it feels in a way pleasant. I was just worried that if this was not an MS symptom, then maybe something else was really really wrong with my brain :D

NORD - for non citizens?

Hi, I am a student here in USA on F1 visa status. Of course I did not intend to be diagnosed with MS, but turns out my student health insurance coverage does not really cover copaxone. I have a cap on pharma drug spending which does not even cover one month and the cap is for a year. I have been ref...

Wet cold feeling on face - No I am not crying

Hi,

I have lately started feeling wet cold spots on the left side of my face and I am not entirely sure if this is a symptom of MS. Has anyone here ever felt some such weirdness? And of course My face is dry, no hint of water.

Thank you,
Smitha

I am going to start with copaxone in a couple of weeks.. (just trying to postpone the discomfort). I will surely try the massage you have recommended. I was wondering how you massaged on the injection site. wouldn't that be more painful? Does she have any lipoatrophy (i guess that is what it is call...

Hi, Yes I am feeling a lot better. I was more worried about what choices I should make for the future than my illness by itself. Now like you said, I will just be taking things as they come by and not worry too much. I am not so confused anymore, and to tell you the truth MS has not affected my life...
