ozarkcanoer- as far I understood what doctors said,my azygos is probably stenosed so bad is completely closed at some point.Problem is,they say this kind of surgery is 3x more risky that stenting of vena cava (procedure for cancer patients in case of tumor blocking blood flow) so they are afraid to ...

I found fantastic place to learn more on human anatomy-its at http://www.visiblebody.com/start .It has 7 days free trial,in my opinion plenty of time to see where our veins are :wink: takes few minutes to load but I think its worth waiting.Images are 3D.

If You could post for me also...
woman,35,diagnosed MS 2002,doppler October 2009 showed reflux and valves problem on both sides,MRV November 2009 showed azygous vein blockage,no jugular veins problems.Doctors suggest balooning to resolve azygous vein problem.

I thought Dr. Dake was catching and correcting problems in the azygous vein or am I wrong? I know it doesn't show up in the MRV, but doesn't he see it in the venography? now thats interesting :? I have blocked azygos and it was revealed by MRV...on doppler Simka saw turbulence and valve problem in ...

I know, i've been reading somewhere about stenosis that is dependent on position of our body-is present only in some positions of our body...but I can not remember where I saw it...somebody help?
