Just following up on this, something I've concluded is that my Raynaud's seems to occur specifically when my core temperature has cooled. I can go out kayaking (as I did today, for example) and my hands will just about freeze off me, but the rest of me is warm, so I don't get Raynaud's. If, however,...

Yoga - inverted poses and CCSVI
I've been wondering if anyone has any thoughts/insights on whether or not inverted yoga poses are a good thing for people with CCSVI/MS. I can't do headstand due to neck problems, but shoulderstand is done quite often at the yoga class I attend. We hold the pose for about 5 mins or so. I've started ...

This is interesting, because I have this problem. I used to go to a gym at lunchtime. I'd return to my office with a tomato face and pray that no-one came by until it had calmed down (my boss invariably did). I have frequently felt very embarrassed about how red my face goes when I exercise (which I...

The question raised in this thread is one that I have pondered. In addition to MS, I have chronic idiopathic urticaria as well as Raynaud's Syndrome. Both of these conditions relate to temperature change, principally cooling. I have therefore wondered if they somehow relate to circulation, ie if the...

Thank you
Just wanted to say thank you to those who have posted replies to my question, and esp to Zap for contacting Dr Schelling. I think I grasp the basics of what is being suggested, ie there are potentially 2 issues: reflux, and back-jets, from 2 different areas, to put it very simply. I will continue to...

Dr F A Schelling's proposal re ligature of jugular vein
Hello all - I am new to posting, although I have been reading up on the subject of CCSVI in recent weeks, including on this forum. I came across this website (click here) relating to Dr Schelling's findings regarding CCSVI. You will see on this page (click here) he makes the following statement: To ...
