Updates on Stanford trial?

Has anyone heard of any updates on Dr. Dake's clinical trial? I understood something would be approved by mid-February but that it wouldn't be completely set up until late summer. It hasn't been denied has it? Anyone have any sources?

I just found this article and thought it was interesting, linked to the above subject. "Researchers from Oxford University and the University of British Columbia have discovered that Vitamin D deficiency affects a section of the human genome already linked with multiple sclerosis (MS) risk, add...

The interviewer said she would archive it on http://ut.alternativeconservative.com/
I don't have a specific link to it though.

Yes, Lew did great. Way to go Lew for getting an interview!

CCSVI on the Radio

Listening to Lew right now on K-talk radio, http://www.k-talk.com/
The interviewer is a stand in, not doing too well, but it is exciting to hear about CCSVI on the radio in Utah!

Last week the imaging center that was considering getting the proper protocol for the MRV called and said they were not interested, they are not a research facility and the research I gave them was "old". That was very disappointing, but a couple days later I found out that I am pregnant, ...

So I sent all my info and record to Dr. Dake in early November, but never heard another word from them. I am guessing I still need to contact them to see if I am on a list? Any guesses? I would hate to bother them or clog up their email accounts.

My bed has been inclined for about 2 months now. I even brought my blocks on vacation to Hawaii. My energy was so good in Hawaii that I felt almost like I didn't have MS, though I was only recently diagnosed. I sleep better and do not "black out" when I get up in the morning. My optic neur...

Normal MRV...contact help?

An acquaintance through facebook got an MRV done this week at a local Utah hospital and it came back normal. They did not use a special protocol and I feel the radiologists don't really know what they are looking for. I feel she should not give up. I suggested sending the results to someone who know...

Joel, So these pics are from a CT scan with die? A doctor wrote me an order for an MRV and I gave the radiologists a copy of the protocol. They said it takes a special $30,000 software (which they can try out for free for 90 days) and another month to get is all set up. It seems like a CT scan would...

Low Vitamin D in Mothers cause CCSVI in unborn?

This is my dad's theory, that low vitamin D in the mother causes CCSVI in the unborn child, kind of like a birth defect. This would explain why, in a study I read, people born in the spring have a higher chance of having MS, because the mother did not get as much sun during her pregnancy. It also ex...

I just inclined my bed 2 nights ago. I no longer feel like I am going to black out when I get up in the morning. I used to have to sit on the edge of the bed for quite sometime before rising. No complaints from my husband! I think I will incline the bed on vacation next week too!

I just got back from seeing a vascular surgeon. They did an ultrasound and did not find any stenosis, but I kind of expected that. The radiologist did say that my jugular veins were unusually small. I asked if that could be because I have a stenosis above the neck where they couldn't see and he said...

I appreciate you bringing this up. I am going to a vascular surgeon this Wednesday. I am bringing the protocols for doppler and for MRI/MRV. I am only scheduled for an ultrasound right now, but maybe I need to request an MRI using the correct protocol. I do believe, strongly, that I have CCSVI and I...
