I have a neighbour who litreally lost his mind from smoking too much pot... maybe his brain ...

Re: how do you deal with brain fog?

thanks to both of you! I do force myself to take a walk everyday and do some stretching to help with pain... My brain fog is not about remembering names or anything, my memory is fine but I definitely have less concentration and creativity, for example I don't feel I can write an article (let alone ...

Re: pre-existing brain damage vs MS damage

euphonia, just wondering: if your brain is full of lesions, how bad are your symptoms? I mean do you think there s a direct cause and effect between number or size of lesions and ability to function? Also, are your lesions all white, any black one? I think MS damage is mainly from black "holes&...

Re: Is your ANA positive? Do you have neuropathy? GERD?

It could also be Myasthenia Gravis, or even Lambert eaton syndrom, since you have high WBC , it's abvious your body is fighting something, so make sure you get also evaluated for those conditions.

Re: JUGULAR VEIN COMPRESSION

by the way idiopathic cranial hypertension is very well treated by a gastric bypass...yup... so maybe whatver is causing the compression is coming from the stomach... I guess research still has a long way to go....

Re: Relaxed muscles, smooth and striated

absolutely and this is why MS is so similar to Myasthenia Gravis where muscles cannot conctract properly... However I believe it is from s defenseive mechanism, as if the body was trying to "squeeze" the damn bugs that have invaded the nerve... And then if the muscle spams enough to jerk, ...

Anybody tried Mestinon for muscle weakness

Hi there
Justwondering if anyone has tried Mestinon to treat muscle weakness. It treats Myasthenia Gravis, which shares a lot of sx with MS, such as muscle weakness, and double vision...
So I wonder if it'w worth a try...
Thanks!
