2ND Time better results than the 1st Procedure???

Anybody get better results from their second procedure compared to their first time. My Wife ended up worse than before she had her first procedure right from day 1, over 8 months ago. Strongly considering a second go around. Feedback would be very appreciated.

That sounds awful. :-( When you have hoped for improvement, and then to find yourself in this situation. Your wife is so fortunate to have you as her partner. (My spouse left after the MS dx.) I am going to say what I often say to people who suddenly get increased symptoms -- before you assume it's...

How about the MS society taking ownership of the CCSVI.ca url and trying to appear like they give a crap about CCSVI just before all the spring MS walks take place. Nothing more than a big political move to retain donations. Must be hurting!

D dimer blood test

Cece, Many thanks for the lead on the D-dimer test. My wife is on Coumadin and being tested every two wks to keep her level between 1 & 2, so we can throw this test in as they are collecting a blood sample anyway.

**deleted due to being rude and did not mean to be** I am very sorry for my harsh words. I did not mean any disrespect. Just opened my mouth and should have put my foot in it instead of being rude. I am sorry! You apology is a class act. We have all done similar things at times. (Actually, I should...

Cece thanks very much for the time you took with your reply. Very appreciated. Two stents in the left jug only. One is mid and the second lower. Done on Friday morning and by the following Monday morning they had clotted.(Excellent collateral drainage.) Suspect clot might have happened shortly after...

NOPE! Have you? I'm sorry this thread seems suspicious to me. Can you elaborate some? My wife Trish SMPS was liberated 24 Sept. Received 2 stents which clotted and have since cleared as she has flow, per Barrie vascular. Since she got off the table can not control her legs, can not turn over in bed...

Liberated Then Go Backwards then Improve

Anyone had the CCSVI procedure and gotten worse than before procedure? Then as time has gone on have you started to see any improvements? (My wife has not restenosed, and does not have any current clots.) Still on Coumadin. Done Sept 24 2010 SPMS still not back to where she was when she got on the t...

Run the numbers. More women than men have MS. Is it any wonder statistically more of them are clotting?
