Thanks Algis
I have only managed to find one reference in Google dating from 1988 from Spain where carbamazepine was used successfully:-
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/3340424
Havn't coughed up the fee for the full article yet but will do if I don't have any luck with my GP.

Re: Anyone experiencing prostatitis-like pelvic pain?
Hi Algis Sorry to hear you've been experiencing similar problems. I had a cystoscopy (not recommended!!), physical prostate examination and massage, ultrasound scan and numerous blood tests, none of which showed any obvious problems. Until recently, the Sativex was making things tolerable and, as th...

Anyone experiencing prostatitis-like pelvic pain?
Hi Just wondering if anyone else was suffering from pelvic pain which has been attributed to MS and if they have had any luck with treatments. I am PPMS (10 years) and have been experiencing bouts of excruciating pelvic pain for the last 2 years. The doctors have gone down the prostatis road and I h...

Hi Please see Tracking Thread for details:- http://www.thisisms.com/ftopic-8346-75.html#111395 I have not experienced any benefits at all from the treatment, not even the warm hands and feet or fatigue improvements that so many people get. In fact, I am not sure that the stress and anxiety of the bu...

Can I just offer a BIG THANKYOU to TIMS and its many contributors for the information and support that you've provided over the last year or so and the last 6 months especially! I was diagnosed with PPMS in 2007 having experienced a very slow deterioration in leg strength over the previous 8 or 9 ye...

Hi Zap You might want to look up a condition called Micturition Syncope. I have had the exact same experience as yours and my GP said it was this. I believe it has something to do with low blood pressure - mine is low as are many MSers. I also experienced it when self-catheterising which is well-doc...

Something that worries me about these findings is that they do not support an important part of Dr Zamboni's research. If I remember rightly, Dr Zamboni's study did not find CCSVI in any of the controls - something that I have been quoting to anyone who will listen for the last 3 months. Um, I don't...
