Thornyrose: The spring is a long time away in terms of politics. BC and Alberta have changed their tune on a dime I would not worry about Manitoba too much yet.

I had only mild bladder issues (I was mostly aware of them as they got suddenly better post-liberation), but the bladder insult from the IV (and holding my pee for 4 hours) was pretty big. I don't think it's a coincidence that I have twice had a mild UTI (gives me some kidney pain too) in the six mo...

Okay, first be cool. Your neck will hurt - my neck has hurt off and on for seven months (much more off than on as time goes by) and not only on the side I was stented. Plavix will make you woozy and weary sometimes (although if I had to do it again I would stay on mine longer than the minimum). Prob...

Yes, bladder problems (never big) completely resolved, fatigue vastly improved, heat intolerance not present even in the hot summer (we have a continental climate here; hot days are hot, thought not Texas hot - but the hot days have been hard to endure for years and years, and post-liberation I hard...

surprising origin of Colin Rose's mistake?

In the interests of not being a jerk... I was pretty hard on Colin Ross about his sloppy and inaccurate suggestions about Dr. .Simka's income from CCSVI. In particular, Ross said Simka's income was at least $500,000/week from CCSVI work. I posted a sarcastic response (2nd post in this thread, I thin...

Sounds kinda interesting, but it also kinda reminds me of John Lithgow in The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai.

Thanks for bothering to read this page carefully. I might also say that they seem to be reluctant to give a diagnosis. I have spoke two people who have been told in Fargo that their results were borderline CCSVI - although the details in the reports showed that they met 2/5 Zamboni criteria. Since m...

what the procedure was like

MarkW talked about the procedure well, but let me throw this is in: getting my wisdom teeth out was *longer, far more unpleasant, and much more and painful*. Not being able to pee for a few hours afterwards was very uncomfortable and challenging. I would think about a catheter a second time. The sha...

I don't know how bad yours it, but I still notice minor transient pain at my stent site (heck, even a little on the other side where I was just ballooned) 7 months in.

I kind of like it as a reminder of what I did.

You're right, I shouldn't have put in "mysterious" before your "inner circle of companions". (I just deleted another post where I was obnoxious too. Old habits die hard.) But you said that you "would like to see a group of people outside that inner circle verify some of his ...
