In some cases they have also found that some participants who were contacted to go into the next phase of scanning informed the investigators that they had gotten the venoplasty procedure, which made them ineligible to continue in the study.

I guess some people couldn't wait......

My wife stopped taking DMD's years ago, she tried both Beta-seron and copaxone, and neither one did anything for her. She had the procedure on Feb 23, 2011, and just had a follow up ultrasound yesterday, everything is still wide open and flowing. She is getting stronger and stronger...and is up to w...

The Dr my wife used doesn't suggest ultrasound or MRV....he said that if we wanted them he would order the tests, but for CCSVI diagnosis, considered them a waste of time & money

He does, however, use ultrasound as a follow-up, just to make sure the blood is flowing

Dr. Cumming, glad to see you here on TIMS today! I've been meaning to ask in your thread if you've given up lovenox entirely for plavix instead? Is this due to what you'd been saying after ISET, that there wasn't much consensus on what anticoagulation if any? I'm interested in this as well....my wi...

I know of two doctors, when using Plavix, who start the Plavix 5 - 7 days ahead of the procedure. Seems smart to me. There was a video on the link? It didn't show up for me. My wife's Dr is one of them..plavix for 5 days before, (not the day of) and 6 weeks after lovenox the day of and for 7...
