Hi Dr Sclafani, I know some may consider this question not relevant to ccsvi but I think it might. Would you recommend use of the vibrating/power plate as part of an exercise plan or do you think that the vibrations may damage further already compromised veins. (Have tried it once and it feels like ...

You had advised me sometime ago to have my blood tested for this condition before I would attend...

Hello Brenda, I have a consultation with the neuro on the 8th which is the first part of the process for me. You will be able to tell us about the MRV when we meet...It almost feels like you know people already having spent so much time reading Tims. Good luck for your journey over- its only a short...

Hi AmcG Thanks for explaining the stent situation. I am nervous about having one I know I may not need it and I might not even have ccsvi either. As my brother was told he had an irregular venous system in his abdominal cavity when he was being checked out for sticky blood and blood cloths, I am mor...

Hi Dr Sclafani Thanks for all the time you give us! My question is and you may have covered this before - but it is a real anxiety I have about the treatment - Is it possible for the valves to be damaged during the procedure thus making the situation worse as one poster on this site reports. I think...

testing in Dublin

Hi Wonderfulworld,

Well done on finding someone in Ireland that will do an ultrasound. Is s/he open to testing others? I am on the list for dr Simka in Poland but would be interested in getting tested here in Ireland if it was available first.

Thanks
