Re: DrSclafani answers some questions
So what's happening in Switzerland ? Well, not much, at least here in the French part... The official position of the MS society aknowledges the existence of the "CCSVI phenomenon" but does not recommend testing or of course, any other action. One should remember that this is a country of ...

Cord Tissue and Placenta derived MSC's treatment
I'm trying to gather info about stem cell treatments using MSC's derived from Cord Tissue and Placenta, as opposed to Bone-Marrow or Adipose Tissue derived MSC's. CTCI in Tel-Aviv - Prof. Slavin - now offers such an alternative, with the same cell expansion phase. But is it better, the same, more ri...

Re: Autologous mesenchymal stem cells for secondary prog. MS
Hi there
Maybe this can help :
Prof. Slavin's assistant is called Ruth Grunbaum and here's her email : ruth@CTCIcenter.com
I heard that they are also now proposing Cord Tissue and Placenta derived MSC treatment. if you find out more, please share !
And good luck

Dr. Botev autologous stem cell treatment Sofia - Bulgaria
Has anybody heard of the autologous stem cell treatment offered at Tokuda Hospital in Sofia / Bulgaria ? They are using non-expanded bone-marrow or adipose tissue derived stem cells. This is the same hospital where Dr. Petrov has specialised in CCSVI treatments and Dr. Grozdinski is the contact pers...

Re: question about teeth
Zap, I actually had a logopedist when I was a kid, who did teach me not to thrust with my tongue against my front teeth. Sooo, nope, don't think that had anything to do with what happened now. The concept of better drainage of the gums must, I guess, have something to do with the different symptoms ...

Re: question about teeth
Vivavie, I'm so sorry about what you have had to go through  but there definitely is a real connection between what is going on in our mouth and CCSVI procedures ! I really can't find the logic behind it, how can a different / improved blood flow through extra-cranial veins, even if very close ...

Re: question about teeth
I always had a space between my front teeth (we call that "les dents du bonheur" - happiness teeth  ) and it's gone !!! I had my last CCSVI procedure last May and it must have happened slowly but surely after... I now have totally straight teeth and I actually miss my good old gap :s...

You mention a 'persistent immobile valve' in the azygous that you treated by angioplasty. Was that just not identified in her previous procedures? Are you finding the sigmoid sinus cropping up more now? Somehow, the idea of a wire there really creeps me out. It seems like there is so much to learn ...
